Friday night beneath the stars, Nico and Will are painting pictures of the sky. Tonight, they don't say a thing as they listen to the little crickets sing.

"I know everything about you, I'd say," Nico says, trying to lighten the mood late one afternoon, after he had been caught cutting in the bathroom.
Will sighed. "I don't wanna have to live without you."
... I'm only up when you're not down
Don't wanna fly if you're still on the ground
It's like no matter what I do
Well, you drive me crazy half the time
The other half I'm only trying
To let you know that what I feel is true
And I'm only me when I'm with you
"I'm only okay if you are, Nico." Will says, holding his suicidal boyfriend in his arms.
"Whatever," Nico says, rolling his eyes.
"You drive me crazy half the time, y'know that?"
"What about the other half?" Nico says, jokingly.
"I'm only trying to let you know that what I feel for you is true."
"I'm only me when I'm with you."
... Just 2 small-town boys it's a whirl
Living in the crazy world
Trying to figure out what is and isn't true
And I don't try to hide my tears
My secrets or my deepest fears
Through it all nobody gets me like you do
"I promise you it's true."
Nico cries, and cries and cries and cries, "I'm afraid of the dark, Will."
"Here," Will says, and starts glowing.
"Nobody gets me like you..." Nico says, and with that, he's off to sleep.
... And you know everything about me
You say that you can't live without me
"I couldn't live without you, Will."
"I know," Will says softly, playing with Nico's hair.
... I'm only up when you're not down
Don't wanna fly if you're still on the ground
It's like no matter what I do

To let you know that what I feel is true
And I'm only me when I'm with you
"I'm only okay if you are, Nico." Will says, rocking his boyfriend to sleep. "You drive me crazy half the time,"
"What about the other half?" Nico says, repeating their earlier conversation sleepily.
"I'm only trying to let you know that what I feel for you is true. I'm only me when I'm with you."
... When I'm with anybody else
It's so hard to be myself
And only you can tell
One night, for Percy's bachelor party, Nico was invited to a "sleep-over" if you could call it that. He was desperately trying to be himself, but the other boys didn't get him like Will did. After that day, Will noticed, and asked, "Hey, you good?"
"Yeah, thanks."
... I'm only up when you're not down

It's like no matter what I do

With you (uh, yeah)
Nico's only up when Will's not down, won't fly with him still on the ground, like no matter what they do-- while they drive each other crazy half the time--, the other half Will's only trying to show what they have is true.
"And I'm only me," Nico starts.
"Who I wanna be,"
"Well,"
"I'm only me when I'm with you."
"With you." Will finishes, and falls asleep in Nico's arms, this time.
