It's strange to think the songs we used to sing

It's strange for Will Solace to think that the songs he and his ex-boyfriend, Nico di Angelo, used to sing where all just memories now. What happened to the smiles, the flowers, them? They were gone, that's all Will knows now. Yesterday Will found out Nico was cheating on him. And now, just looking at Nico feels... wrong, somehow.

He told Will earlier today that he takes everything he had done back, just one more chance. And he said yes.

But Nico should have said no to the other man. He should've gone home to Will that night at the bar. Nico di Angelo should've thought twice about Will before he let everything they had go.

He should have known that Will would find out about what he did with the other man.

And Will should have been there, in the back of Nico's mind, Will shouldn't be asking himself "Why?" all the time now, after it was all said and done. Nico shouldn't be begging for forgiveness at Will's fee.

"You should've said no, baby, and maybe you'd still have me." Will said to Nico before he walked off back to his cabin.

Nico walked into Will's cabin that night, and saw that he had been crying. he knew all the right things to say, but  does he honestly expect Will to believe that things between them might ever be the same?
