“Long time no see, Jungkook. I tried to contact you twice or more but maybe you were busy studying abroad.” Sarah says in a low voice.
“Away from home, it was so difficult actually. Without mom’s continuous pestering, dad’s large ass lectures and Jae’s tantrums, life was like hell. I only concentrated on my studies. Sorry if I disappointed you anyhow.” Jungkook tries to explain.
“No, no, it’s totally fine, Jungkook. From now on we have to meet often, if this meeting is going well for you too.” Sarah says nervously.
“We are friends Sarah. No need to be that awkward to me. Let's get to know each other more. We can then decide to marry or not.”Jungkook comforts her with a smile.
“Let’s have some coffee. You love coffee, nah?”
Jungkook nods and sits at the garden tea table where Sarah starts preparing the coffee. Meanwhile, he looks around the garden and his eyes lock at two certain figures on the balcony, Taehyung with another man. They are indeed enjoying their company. Taehyung is laughing and the other one is gazing at him intensely.
“Here you go., your coffee, Jungkook.”
Jungkook comes back to his senses and smiles at Sarah, ”Thank you for the coffee, Sarah.” He takes a sip and looks at Sarah.
“Who’s that on your balcony?”
“Oh, that’s my elder brother, Junwoo and, is that Taehyung with him?”
Jungkook nods a little.
“I never knew you had a younger brother, Jungkook.”
“No one among my friends knows. I never talked about him with anyone. We are not that friendly.” Jungkook looks at Sarah and getting her expressions he shakes his head, “it’s not like that he’s a jerk or something.” Jungkook takes a deep breath and looks at Taehyung who is now staring at the plants, “Taehyung is something else. He has done so much for our family. I am glad he’s my family. I want him to live happily. It’s just that we never get along that easily.”
Sarah nods and smiles at Jungkook warmly.

“And you know that’s how I ended up outside the gate. I was drunk like hell. Mom kicked my ass and dad told me to stay outside. I was homeless for an hour or more. Can you imagine alcohol can make one homeless?” Junwoo keeps complaining about that alcohol and Taehyung keeps laughing hearing his words.
“You can’t blame alcohol. You were at fault.” Taehyung says while laughing.
They are unaware about the fact that they are observed by someone from another corner of the garden. After a while, Jae starts pestering Junwoo about the flowers. Taehyung is roaming around the balcony alone as the two are busy in their own floriculture world, his eyes lock on two figures, Jungkook and Sarah. They are sitting at the tea table in the garden while Jungkook is explaining something and Sarah is smiling warmly at Jungkook.
They look good together.

Jae, Taehyung, Junwoo were already in the hall when Sarah and Jungkook entered. It’s family discussion time. All of them sit silently.
“Sarah, I want to ask you first. Do you like to be his better half? Should we all discuss further or..” Mrs. Jeon asks Sarah.
“Aunty, as per our decision we want to meet more and decide if we are compatible. I am okay with this. I want him to decide. So we would like to ask for some time.”
Jungkook looks at Sarah and nods, “Marriage is a serious matter to me. We have been friends since childhood. So I want to get her the life she deserves. I want to spend more time with her and let her decide again if she really wants to marry me, to lead a life where I am a big part. Hope everyone understands us.”
