It’s almost sundown when Jungkook gets up. He looks at the bed and it seems like Taehyung is still sleeping.
He should eat some food.
“Taehyung, get up. Have some food. Are you feeling well?” Jungkook goes near his bedside and could notice the comforter shivering.
“Hey, are you ill again?”
Jungkook removes the cover from Taehyung's face and the scene wrecks his heart into pieces. Taehyung is crying silently clenching his shirt tightly in a fist.
“Hey, what's the problem? Taehyung, sit up.”
But Taehyung doesn’t get up; he just looks at Jungkook with those pleading eyes. Jungkook sits beside Taehyung and helps him get up. Taehyung climbs up on Jungkook’s lap and hides his face in his crook. He is still shivering, legs trembling and eyes shrunken due to dehydration. Jungkook assumes some lower back pain too. Taehyung is still struggling to adjust in his embrace. Jungkook tightly hugs him back.
“Try to eat something, will you?” Taehyung shakes his head lightly and hugs him more tightly.
Jungkook finds out the needs of the other and releases some pheromones and starts rocking him a little so that he can calm down. After a minute or two, Taehyung’s shivering seems to get reduced and he is more stable than before.
Jungkook frees himself from Taehyung and gets the food packets. He tries to feed Taehyung a spoon full of food while he keeps shouting and shaking head constantly.
He is adorable.
Jungkook somehow managed to feed him some food and medicines. He cleaned him up and made him sleep.
But the inner storm never seems to have any end. What is going to happen in the future? How the hell no one knows about him being an omega? And what if anyone knows? How will their family react?
But all these thoughts come to an end watching Taehyung sleeping peacefully on his chest. He smiles a little and shifts Taehyung to bed, wrapping him with one of his coats so that he can smell him. He has to talk about this to Jae. He can’t keep it to himself anymore.
Jungkook slowly leaves the room and calls Jae, “When are you coming back?”
“It will take some more time. I am stuck at an office dinner.”
“I have important things to discuss.”
“Okay wait for me. I will be there in no time.”

“Do you even know what you are saying? From the very childhood we both know that he is an alpha. I agree he is sensitive, fragile, soft to be an alpha, but he is! And you’re telling me about his heat? Are you drunk, hyung?”
“Jae, I have seen his pearl blue shining eyes. I have seen it several times. And his neck piece too! And I am confirmed in many other ways, I can’t tell.”
Jae lets out a sigh, “How is he now?”
“Not so good I guess. He’s looking for my smell whenever I am away. I am not understanding how he is depending on my pheromones.”
“Maybe your pheromones or smells are the first smell he got after his heat started. It’s normal. But I still can’t believe anything.”
“For now, let’s behave like you know nothing. I don’t know why he has been hiding since childhood. So keep this as a secret, he will feel uncomfortable.”
Jae nods and holds Jungkook’s hands, “What about you, hyung? You can’t stay with him in his current state now.”
“He can’t stay without me. It’s painful for him. He has been taking suppressants, medicine, and I don't know what more. This is his first heat without any help. I must look after him.”
