There's a fire escape which is never alarmed, Elena knew this because a year 7 tried to set the fire alarm off just so he couldn't do P.E, safe to say he failed on that attempt yet he did get detention for a week. The best thing is that it happened to be right next to reception, and there were multiple blind spots.

Elena is running at this point so she can manage to leave the premises without being seen. She heads up towards reception and runs as fast as possible to avoid having being seen by any of the receptionists. It's located next to the P.E. changing rooms in a very narrow room. She does a double take before she continues, then she uses both her arms to press down on the door handle, and it works!

The gates were always open so she didn't have to worry about leaving, however it was a lunchtime so she would have to duck behind the bushes to avoid being caught on CCTV that and by the sixth-form teacher Mr Gladdis. Who just so happened to be stood near the gates to make sure nobody who wasn't supposed to get out got out.

Thankfully, Mr Gladdis was playing a game on his phone, so it was just the CCTV camera she HAD to make sure to avoid. Elena was small and petite, so she was perfectly capable of crouching down as small as possible and doing the crab move as fast as possible.

She checked the CCTV camera. Yup, it was one which you could actually see who was where just by glancing at it! Easy peasy lemon squeezy, Elena happened to be the last girl standing in games like dodgeball, so this if anything was a breeze!

3 minutes and 45 seconds later, and Elena had officially done it! She stayed low on the ground until she was completely out of eyeshot. She wasn't going to take any chances, not now that she'd managed to get this far!

She changed over onto the opposite side of the pavement and walked behind the ice cream van, Elena was certain that if she was to walk in front of the ice cream van in uniform at almost 1pm then shed definitely get questioned and rushed back into the school.

Elena knew the area better than anything, so she walked to the end of the road before making a sharp right turn. There was a side street that would cut her off from any local cctv cameras, and they had been used recently to check if students had been bunking off. They'd found far too many students claiming they had dental problems, and so they'd just disappear. It turned out they'd been bunking off and had been caught nicking alcohol.

Stupid gits thought Elena, the side street lead up to the back of an old derelict playground which was opposite the bus stop. There wasn't any CCTV cameras over here because the playground hadn't been used in decades. It might as well just be a cemetery for playground equipment!

She got out her phone as she waited for the bus to send a message to her friend Jannet before their final class was due to start. "Can you please tell Mr Chalk that Matron has sent me home as I passed out from having forgotten to eat a proper lunch. She doesn't want my mother to claim that the school is making Me work whilst I'm unwell, so she is sending me home, but I will be back in first thing tomorrow."

Jannet immediately resonds."Daft git you need to eat more! Go home, get food, and take a kip on couch! Chalks late, I'm surprised he don't get a late mark! See yah tomorrow tho eh :p"

Elena chuckles
