With every step I took downstairs, I felt exhilaration travelling through every pour of my body.

Finally, it was the day of my new branch's inauguration and the morning of Dada-dadi's anniversary. Last night after celebrating we were deep-drop tired, but this morning I woke up with a weird jubilant feeling.

My family from Mumbai was coming to stay for two days here with me in the Mehrotra mansion. At first, Prit was a bit against the idea, but there's nothing I can't convince him about.

The moment I reached the final stair I saw everyone entering through the main door, the Mehrotras welcoming them.

"Sunrise", Prit's black eyes found mine and a small grin marked his face. I partially ran towards him and jumped in his embrace, hugging him tightly at the threshold. "Prit", I squealed when he swift me off my feet and twirled me around making me chuckle. Everyone laughed at our interaction and walked inside.

"I am sorry, you forgive me, right?", I asked, coming down my high and staring at him in expectancy. "How long do you think I can remain vexed with my sunrise?", we chuckled at his statement and he ruffled my hair a bit, caressing them.

"I missed you", I confessed hugging him and my voice came out muffled because of his hard chest. "I missed you too", he hugged me back and kissed the side of my head lovingly.
His one hand was on my shoulder while the other was on my head, racking his fingers through my open hair.

Honestly, I never understood my relationship with Prithvi. All I know is we stood with each other through thick and thin, good and bad, happy and sad. After the horrifying incident, it was Prit who comforted me, held me close to his chest and provided me with the warmth I needed at that moment.

He stayed with me after my every mental breakdown and fed me food whenever I refused to because I was too overwhelmed. He helped me in my studies and passed my exams when I couldn't concentrate on my studies, helped me build my business empire and became my backbone without second thoughts.

Prit was called the selfish bastard in the business world, for me he was the selfless little boy whom my Nani first introduced me to when we were kids.

He was crying, sitting in the corner when I first met him, I had passed him my favourite handkerchief and since then this monkey hasn't returned it still yet.

We stepped back when we heard a throat clearing. Turning towards the source I found Moksh standing with his hands in his pocket. He had his tongue pocking his cheek and his brown eyes narrowed to slits.
