Honestly, I have no words, since this chapter adds a lot to all the suspense in the story, but all I want to say is there's something big coming its way. Y'all better be prepared to get the roller coaster ride and enjoy every bit of it;) *wink, wink*

I felt a jab in my chest the moment I saw my wife hugging her best friend as if her life depended on it.

I wasn't judging them, but certainly, I felt the hurt pierced through my heart with the fact that she wasn't still so vocal about her emotions and herself around me.

I felt my throat clogged up and an unknown lump forming, it was unbearable and made me feel as if something was weighing down my heart. I wanted to get rid of the feelings as the pain travelled through every pour of my body.

Shaking my head, I cleared my throat and it was enough for the two long-lost best friends to step away, breaking from the hug. My eyes travelled directly to Prithvi's narcissistic ass and settled on his black eyes.

They were pitch black as if hiding the demon that lay beneath them.

A muscle twisted in my jaw as I glared at him with so much hate and loathe that if I got a chance I wouldn't blink an eye before burying him alive.

The man meant nothing to me minus being my wife's best friend.

And I wasn't even surprised when he reciprocated the same feeling towards me. His eyes bore directly into mine and I tilted my head in a challenging way.

A menacing glint flashed in my eyes and I clenched my fist tightly to compose myself.

We weren't alone, my wife was present in the scenario at the moment, if not I would have single-handedly manhandled the man, let alone let him even step a foot in my territory.

My burning gaze settled on the hand that rested on Lasya's shoulder and all I could see was red. The jealousy seemed to overpower all my senses and I wanted to do nothing but tear him apart and forever hide my wife away from him.

The tension was so thick and evident in the air, but all I knew was that Lasya would forever be safe with Prithvi Chauhan. He would kill and get killed for his sunrise. I don't know what he feels for her, but I have seen in his eyes, how much she means to him.

My wife had managed to melt the iceberg in his heart and grew a soft corner for her, the only time when Prithvi Chauhan doesn't behave like a self-absurd bastard is when he is with his sunrise and I swear I find it envious.

He would protect her with his life, and wouldn't think twice before taking a bullet or firing a bullet for her.

But in the end, she is my wife and no one's snatching her from me.
