I think it's completely fair if we evaluate all the views the chapters get.
so, I hope y'all will start considering finishing the target at least.

- no further updates if the target doesn't complete.

L A S Y A

I stood on the threshold of the Mehrotra mansion bidding my family goodbye. The house help helped them keep their bags in the car's trunk as they got ready to leave the premises and get back to Mumbai in Prit's jet.

I sniffed slowly as I tried to not choke on a sob and my eyes burned with the tears I was holding back.

Unlike my wedding, this felt like a real bidaai. After the morning incident in my new office, I was pretty disturbed and overwhelmed with my emotions all over the place.

So Prit had calmed me down, made me drink water, drove across the city aimlessly and also fed me my favourite ice cream to help me take my mind off things. I swear when I say Prit is my bestest best friend!

I was befuddled between telling Moksh what happened in the office since he had taken a promise from me that I would not hide anything from him, but I decided otherwise.

I did not want to drag him in this mess, he had a lot on his plate already and I was sure Prit and I would handle the matter single-handedly.

Amar Rastogi, Dhruv's father was a cunning bastard. Never were the Agarwals on good terms with him since he did not match their social standards.

He was the greatest rival of the Mehrotra's and it did not come to me as a surprise when he shook hands with the Agarwals, in the pretext of having his way through it.

He was a vicious man, a poisonous snake whose poison would kill you second by second if he stung you. I have been a victim of his folly once, but I made sure to give him the taste of his own medicine by blinding from one eye.

No doubt, years later he was back to avenge the pain I gave him that night. He thinks that he can manhandle me and win over me with his stupid stunts, so let him live in that delusion. Because I know what I have to do.

If I want, one word for Prit he would be in his Prithvi Chauhan mode, mass killing every person associated with Amar Rastogi and he wouldn't care even if it's the Agarwals.

From everything that I knew about the Agarwals, I was aware that they were using Amar Rastogi against my family, since Rastogi owns 2% shares from the Mehrotra business, which he acquired from his dirty tactics, they planned to make Raina the scapegoat and get the remaining 15% shares under them. FVCKING bastards!!

I exhaled deeply and clenched my fist, my jaw tightening when I thought about that dreadful night now. I constantly reminded that Raina was safe and sound, until and unless she was under the protection of Prit but there was danger lurking in the shadows.
