"Tai, you look just wow", Avni complimented as she zipped my dress.
I stared at myself in the mirror and adjusted the nuptial chain on my chest.

"Thanks, Avi", I pulled her cheeks and she scrunched her nose. I chuckled at her reaction and wore my earrings.

We were getting ready for the evening, first, we had the ribbon cutting ceremony of the new branch and then we all moved towards the hostel where the after party of both the opening and anniversary was taking place.

Initially, I had decided upon some other dress, but Sam being my stylist was so annoyed that he brought a dress for me.

"You are not wearing a piece of fabric that I haven't designed for you, Vini and if you do I'll burn down the outfit", he had threatened before passing me a formal evening gown.

I wore a full-length white evening dress, it had full sleeves and hugged me at the right places. My waist looked more snatched and along with the heels, I appeared taller.

Sam knew my taste very well. He knew what suited my body type and made me stand out in the crowd.

"Do I look presentable? I mean, my in-laws will like the dress? And Moksh?", I questioned Avni doubtfully, my palms turning clammy as I broke out in cold sweat.

"You will rock it Tai, and your in-laws are pretty liberal, I hope they won't have a problem", she replied, while she perfected my messy bun.

"And don't talk about Moksh Jiju, that man is already head over heels for you, have you seen the way he looks at you", she smiled making me break out into a shy smile as well.

The mere mention of Moksh having feelings for me makes me squeal like a schoolgirl.

"Stop messing around okay, let's go downstairs", I narrowed my eyes and she grinned showing off her thirsty two teeth. She nodded and I grabbed my phone and purses before we walked downstairs.

In the living room, everyone was already present and ready for the departure. I roamed my eyes the hall searching for my favourite shade of brown orbs but they were nowhere to be seen.

"Bhai, just went somewhere with Nevan Bhai, don't worry he'll be back", Ziya whispered as she stood beside me wiggling her lashes. I blinked my eyes and looked everywhere and she chuckled.

I haven't seen him since we have returned from the temple. Once we were back from the temple I was pretty overwhelmed, I sat with Amruta Kaku for a pretty long time, as she massaged my head.

She was my unpaid therapist, whenever I felt conflicted I would run back to her with the thoughts all over my brain. She would listen to me patiently and come up with the best suggestion. The time I spent with her, I kept thinking about all the words Ashwini Kaku said, it was all over my mind.
