ANANYA

"Eat this before Ananya"
Mom yelled from behind.

"I will grab something on my way"
I said and went towards my car and slid into it before driving to the hospital where I work.

Last night was the memorable day of my life.Arhan and I spent the whole night yesterday in the amusement park riding in lots of different things.

The necklace he gifted is perfect for daily wear and right now I am wearing it, it's really beautiful and I love it.

I parked the car and moved up to my cabin floor through the elevator.

I smiled and greeted my co-workers and they did the same but—I don't know why awkwardly.

"Ananyaa listen listen"
Kiara said running towards me—she almost slipped when I holded her by her arms and made her steady.

"What happened—wohh calm down"
I said forrowing my eyebrows.

"You—the director is calling you?"
She said gulping down the water I gave her.

"The director?"

I said confusedly,she nodded at my words.

"She is angry"

My eyes widen at her words and I took no time and ran towards her office which was on the 7th floor.

What happened?

I went towards her office and her assistant saw me and greeted me with an awkward look.

"What happened?"
I asked.

She awkwardly said

"Uh Mam you went home yesterday before your shift was over and Rajvansh Rajput your patient made an sudden visit and you weren't there"
She explained.

This man is so arrogant.
I scoffed.

I took a deep breath and knocked on her door.I heard a 'Come in' which gave me goosebumps.

I slowly entered inside and looked at her.

She was facing the window.

"Mam?"
I said tried to made myself presentable.

She turned back and looked at me with a grin.She is no less than a monster.

"Why did you left yesterday?"

And here my throat died,what should I say?

"Uhm—there was no patient and—"

"THAT DOESN'T MEAN YOU WILL LEAVE,YOU WILL LEAVE WHEN YOUR SHIFT IS OVER,YOU UNDERSTAND THAT"

She yelled making me flinch,I looked down knowing it was my fault.

"Yes mam"
I mumbled

"What?"
