"Sir, we have a meeting with the FI team client in 10 minutes," Lucas informed me as I was reviewing the project proposals.

"Make sure everything goes perfectly. If anyone makes a mistake, just fire them," I replied, and he nodded.

"Any news about Luna and Marco?" I asked.

"I've confirmed they've reached Italy," he said. I nodded, feeling a mix of relief and regret. I didn't want to let Luna go because she was perfect for Ananya, but her reasons were valid. She would return once her mission, which she had been working on for years, was completed.

"Anything else?" I asked.

"Yes, boss," he said, pulling something out from his coat and placing it on my desk. "I got this a few minutes ago."

I took the red envelope and read the card inside. It said:

"Hope you are not so well. You are not requested but asked to come to my wedding next Saturday. Though I don't want you here, I am curious to meet your so-called wife. And yes, my father wants you here.
—Princess Rosabella Romano."

I cursed under my breath.I will kill this woman for ever trying to put my wife down. And marriage? I didn't think my uncle would easily agree to their marriage. Well, shit is going on. Rajvansh deserved this for ever flirting with my woman.

I glanced at my watch and got up from the chair, not forgetting to toss the letter into the trash bin.

Lucas followed me."Sir,here is the team who prepared the proposal"He said pointing towards the group of people as they come towards us and greeted me and I nodded at them.

Mr. Edward, a prominent businessman, approached us, his team members behind him. As we exchanged handshakes, a professional air settled over us.

"It's a pleasure to work with you," Mr. Edward said, a subtle smile playing on his lips.

"Likewise," I replied, mirroring his business-like demeanor. "We are eager to begin our collaboration."

We all proceeded into the spacious meeting hall, the various team members finding their seats at the long table.

There was a sense of anticipation in the air, each person ready to contribute their expertise to the task at hand.

With everyone seated, the meeting officially began. The air in the room was thick with tension, each person eager to present their ideas and proposals.

I leaned back in my chair, watching and listening as the different team members took turns presenting their plans and concepts.

But my mind was elsewhere,I was constantly thinking what might my wife be doing and I couldn't check my phone right now at meeting hall or I could have watched whatever she was doing which I do always.
