Finally my work is completed,I will just grab some food go home and rest.
I thought to myself before closing the laptop,I will just chill in the cafe which is opened newly just near our hospital.
I have been trying to visit once but never got the time to.
So yeah why not go there today.
"Byee I am going" I said to Kiara who was still working.
"Don't make me jealous" She said making a sad face,I laughed and came out of the hospital.
I didn't brought my car—actually I never brought my car to work since everyone knows me just as a new junior doctor it will be awkward with my colleagues if they get to know my real identity,I was want people to be comfortable around me.
Anyway I walked towards the cafe,it was beautifully decorated and so cozy.
As soon as I opened the heavy metal door of the cafe, the doorknob made a loud metallic clank, shattering the peaceful silence of the room.
Undeterred, I stepped inside and made my way to a quiet corner chair.
The room was small, with only 3-4 other customers scattered around, each one engrossed in their thoughts and conversation.
The room was warm and cozy, the sunlight streaming in through the windows giving the place an inviting atmosphere.
As the waiter approached, and handed me the menu I looked at it trying to find something of my liking.
"Mam your order?"
His soothing voice pulled me out of my thoughts and I looked up at him, taken aback by the smile on his face.
It was as though the whole world had stopped, and it was just the two of us in this moment.
I took in his appearance, noticing the hat on his head and the brown apron tied around his waist.
But what really caught my attention was his hazel eyes, the light catching in them and making them glimmer like golden pools of honey.
It was as if time stood still, and I could have stared at him forever.
"Maam?" His words brought me back to reality. I blinked multiple times and looked away being embarassed.
