The tall man stood by the large window of his office, leaning against the glass as he took a slow drag on his cigarette.
His gaze was fixed on the stunning view outside, the city skyline stretching out in front of him like a beautiful tapestry.
The mirror on the wall next to him reflected his image back at him, and he studied his reflection for a moment before exhaling a stream of smoke.
Arhan stood behind his large mahogany desk, idly flicking a silver lighter in his hand.
A knock on the door pulled his attention away from the lighter, and he looked up to see one of his trusted man standing awkwardly in the doorway.
"Boss, Today is Ananya Malhotra's wedding day," that man said tentatively.
Arhan's lip curled into a sneer at the mention of Ananya's name.
"I know," he said coldly, tossing the lighter onto the desk with a loud thud.
"Aren't you going to do-"
His words was cutted by Arhan's dangerous glare making him shut his mouth."You can go"
He said and that man left the cabin."Rajvansh Rajput"
He muttered."You are too fast Ananya"
He thought in his mind and let out a chuckle.A call pulled Arhan out of his thoughts. He checked the caller ID, and a slight frown appeared as soon as he saw who was calling. He pressed the accept button and placed the phone to his ear.
"Come stai fratello?" the woman on the other end greeted.
("How are you brother?")
A slight chuckle escaped his lips before he replied, "Lascia le formalità e dimmi solo il motivo della tua chiamata?" he said with a grin.
(Leave the formalities just tell me the reason for your call?"
The woman on the call let out a laugh.
"Questa è l'unica cosa che mi piace di te, vai dritto al punto."
The girl said, her voice carrying a hint of amusement. Arhan waited, his patience wearing thin, for her to reveal the real reason behind her call.("This is the only thing I like about you, you get straight to the point,")
"Ho sentito che la tua ragazza dal culo finto si sposa," she continued, her tone dripping with mockery.
("I heard your fake ass girlfriend is getting married")
Arhan's expression hardened, his grip on the phone tightening. " Rósabellà,Non disturbarmi se non hai qualcosa di ragionevole di cui parlare," he replied coldly, his voice devoid of any warmth.
Even he couldn't fathom why the thought of Ananya getting married stirred such a tumultuous feeling within him.
("Rosabella,do not bother me,If you don't have something reasonable to talk about")
The woman on the other end let out a laugh, clearly enjoying the reaction she had provoked.
Arhan, however, was left grappling with an unexpected surge of emotions, his mind unwillingly drifting back to memories of Ananya.
"Tornando al punto, voglio Rajvansh Rajput," the woman said, finally revealing her true intentions. Arhan was momentarily taken aback, but then a smirk formed on his lips.
(“Back to the point, I want Rajvansh Rajput")
"E perché mi stai dicendo questo?" he questioned, his tone laced with mockery.
