Turning blue

"Jammie come over here for a second," It's only been 14 days since I've been on Pandora I've been in the lab since I've come and made 2 new friends Ma and Nia (including Lighting). I walk over to the lab guy Thomas but I just call him Tom.

"You need something?," I said placing my hand on my hip tiredly, Tom held a box full of video loggers I groaned "Do I have to use all of these?," I said taking the box from the arms of researcher who chuckled "No Moon this isn't for you these are old video loggers back when the RDA was in full swing other researchers documented their works on theses," Tom said picking one of them up and placing it back in the box.

I raised a brow staring down at the box then back at him "Then why throw them out, why not go through them," I say holding the box up  "There could be a whole lot of information on these," I said "Jammie do I look like I have time to go through all of these, it'll take about 9 hours to get half way through them," I shrugged.

Walking out of the lab "Just remember your mission tomorrow with the colonel come later so you can link with your avatar," I hear Tom say as I exit the lab. My 14 days on Pandora have been interesting.

I haven't done much since I've been here helping out at the lab is mostly what I do while I prepare myself to be linked to my avatar as I haven't done that yet, Lighting hasn't been around lately, off training and the two new girl friends I have keep me company.

They are both cousins born on Pandora an iconic duo i walk back to my room entering the sliding doors as I walk in Ma short for Mariah and Nia lay on their beds chatting away like usual they look up as I enter the room.

"Hey Jammie whats with the box of video loggers," Nia asked with a chuckle Ma raised her brow frustrated "Do we HAVE to use those..," she said groaning out loud I sighed at them placing the box down.

"No we don't have to use them I brought them here cause I want to go through them," I say going through the names of the video loggers Nia rolled her hazel eyes at me sinking into her bed as Ma's dark brown ones followed me curiously Nia was 16 the oldest of us in the group and Ma was 14 the youngest, me and lighting being 15 the middle.

I say the names of the video loggers out loud my attention catching onto one particular one "Jake Sully..," I say holding the video logger up noticing Nia and Ma's head snap to me "Jake Sully?!," they walk over to me holding the logger up.

"Yea? is he someone important?," I say taking the logger and placing it on my desk about to turn it on "Yea he's the betrayer, they say he betrayed his own race and became na'vi," my head tilted at what Nia said "You can become na'vi?," I glanced at the logger.

Nia eagerly went up to it turning it on "Come on we have to watch it, I mean the guys a legend," Ma turned to me smiling sitting down next to Nia, i shook my head "Why not i mean i have nothing to do," i sat down on the chair next to them as the video log played.

An average looking white guy in a wheelchair popped up on screen silenced filled the room as we sat there watching, it was amazing watching this guy document his life this was log entry 58 Nia and Ma had fallen asleep leaning on my shoulder i jumped seeing one of my heroes Grace Augustine .

It was a coaster of emotions as i reached log entry 81, a few hours passed as i looked at my watch i shoot up making the 2 girls fall to the ground waking themselves up "Shit we need to get to the link room, Lighting entered our room in a rush "Guys what the hell your late, come on Tom is waiting," he said i shut off the video log rushing towards him "Shit i know beanstalk," I say walking towards him with a smile.

We all rushed to the lab huffing and puffing "Well if ain't my favourite group, late as always," Tom said smiling, I look up at him taking a deep breath Lighting chuckles and Nia and Ma smirks.

"Come we're wasting sunlight into the units you go," Tom said motioning us to the link units "Good luck shxawngs," I say walking over to Tom he takes me to a link unit "Alright all you have to do i-," I cut him off "Yea, Yea I know already," I say smirking laying myself down onto the unit Tom staring over me "Just clear your mind," he said putting the weird chest thing above me I raise my head to look at it, Tom gently pushes my head down.

"Head down," he says smiling "Alright just keep yourself and head clear, can you do that?," he says glancing at me "Kiss the darkest part of m-," I say but it gets muffled by the the link unit closing, Tom rolls his eyes "Initiate link," he says walking over to the other tech.

I close my eyes, the darkness fully surrounding me as I see a blast tunnel of light. I open my eyes blurry for a few seconds there's a ringing in my ears, two people come into my view med techs my sight finally sets "Woah I feel weird," I say.

I sit up slowly feeling strength in my body like I'm reborn "Hey guys," I say I bring my hands into view THEY'RE BLUE I smiled amazed I look down at my feet lifting them up all most falling over "Wow," I say in pure shock.

I stand up holding my arms out "Jammie you need to sit down," I hear one of the med tech say I turn to them smirking "Mawey I'm fine," I turn to the one way mirror walking over to it seeing myself I let out a laugh I WAS BLUE FOR FUCK'S SAKE something wrapped around my hand a tail?! I whip around trying to see it, Lighting watches me sitting chuckling the meds try to calm me down "This is so cool," I say "Jammie settle down," I hear Tom say before ignoring him.

I look around the room spotting a door I rush towards it laughing "Sedate her!," I hear one of the meds say "Sedate who? cause it's not me," I say pushing the door opening and rushing out nearly falling onto my ass, running with a tail was weird.

I ran out of courtyard dodging other avatars "wooooo!," I shout staring down at my legs catching spreed "Jammie wait!," I hear someone say I turn to see Lighting trying to catch up nearly falling down "HAHAha..," I laugh out.

I felt this weird sensation of freedom it felt good avatars jumped into my view holding their hands out to stop me both having black hair but one had a blond strike I lift a brow amused pointing at one "Is that you Ma and Nia..?," I say with a chuckle they both nod grinning Lighting finally catches up placing his hand on my shoulder trying to catch his breath.

"Your run way too fast," he said out of breath Nia chuckles and Ma smirks "Come on lets get you guys in some actual clothes," Ma says, me and lighting look at each other before nodding.

I dressed into a tank top and shorts they were larger on me my height was strange I was like 7ft tall now "This feels strange," I say seeing the eclipse I move my hand In-front of me admiring the blue stripes "Lights out," I hear Nia say I chuckle.

Laying back onto the bed "Today got a little more interesting its nice," I think moving my braid to my shoulder yawning "I wonder what tomorrow has in-store ," I think glancing at the roof.

Tomorrow's gonna be great...
