New circumstance

I walked out of the healing mauri my tail swaying behind me, Mo'at had just finished braiding my hair I smiled holding one of my braids up as I walked I saw the Sully kids all surrounding their mauri I heard shouting inside Tuk bent down looking into the mauri easedropping with Kiri.

I bent down next to them "Whats going on Kiri..," I said under my breath Kiri speared me a  glance "I don't know..," she looked worried I nodded I didn't want to make anything more worse than it already was.

Neteyam and Lo'ak walked over seeing us they settled Neteyam next to me and Lo'ak next to  Kiri, Neteyam placed his hand on my shoulder, startled I looked back meeting his gaze he didn't say anything but his eyes were asking a question 'what is happening? I shook my head just as dumbfounded as him.

He nodded his head turning back to the mauri my gaze laid on him for a moment before turning to Tuk the girl tail swaying nervously.

"You can not ask this!," I heard Neytiri say my ears flattened "The children all they've ever known is the forest..!," my head bowed seeing Tuk's tail droop I rest my hand on the little girl's head petting her comforting.

"This is our home! My father gave me his bow as he lay dying... Protect the people that's what he said... You're Toruk Macto!," I could hear Mrs sully's voice break I brought my hand to my locket holding it for comfort "He had our kids! he had them under his knife," I heard Mr Sully say. I raised my head Lo'ak, Kiri, Neteyam and I looked worriedly before turning back to the mauri.

There was a pause my breath hitched I felt a thumb moving on my back I turned to see Neteyam looking up at me his eyes reading 'its alright' I nodded my eyes going to Kiri who looked crushed I gave her a comforting look.

"But I can protect this family that I can do... this family is our fortress," I heard Mr Sully say Tuk turned her head at us I looked down at her the little girl crouched up I rested a hand on her head she turned to her siblings I backed up "This is a family matter...," I thought raising up quietly Kiri looked up at me I gave her a nod.

I turned to Neteyam and Lo'ak giving them a nod too leaving the family to discuss the matter "Its better I keep out," I mumbled under my breath I walked back to the mauri I settled next to Mo'at who was weaving vine creating something she looked at me appreciating that I was there.

I said nothing she placed a pieces of vines next to me "While you are here at least make yourself useful," I looked up at her smiling "But I don't know how to weave," I said picking up some vines in my hand "Then it is time to learn," she said gazing back at her work I shimmed over to her settling closer as I watched her work kinda getting the hang of it.

I groaned messing it up for the 3rd time placing the vines down frustratedly Mo'at picked it up "When something doesn't go right, make it!," she said holding my unfinished work placing the unfinished product in my hand I smiled and she placed her hand on my head.

I heard steps my ears twitched, I looked up swiftly glancing back at Mo'at I looked up and saw Mr Jake. He nodded his head to the side looking at me I nodded before turning back to Mo'at she placed her hand over my hands nodding at me I got up, Mr Jake walked In-front.

"Did I do something?," I said unsure, he stopped we were in-front of the entrance of the cave he shook his head "I need to give you a heads up kid," he said I nodded "He's gonna say they're leaving," I thought looking to the side "We're leaving..," I shrugged nonchalantly "I knew it," I said under my breath sighing.

"And you're coming with," he said my head snapped to him "Huh!?," I said confused "Kid you bring danger I cant let the people die..," he said uncertain "But wouldn't I just bring that danger to you and.. your family," I stopped "I don't want that..," I continued staring up at him he smiled only a little me being worried about his family was something he didn't think I cared.

"That danger has always been there just now its looking for you too," I nodded bowing my head he rested his hand on my shoulder "Enough of that I need you to know you're riding with my son," Jake said I looked up at him "That wont be needed," I said walking closer to the edge Mr Jake looked confused raising his brow I smirked whistling I called zezei.

The Ikran landed on the edge of the cave I petted my Ikran, Jake couldnt help but smile hiding it with a sigh he nodded "Pack your things kid," he said half amused I nodded watching him walk off I hugged zezei I looked up at over where Mr Jake walked off I saw Neteyam staring at me I sent him a thumbs up smiling.

Mo'at walked out of the mauri "Jammie come.," she said I tapped on zezei's neck "Go..," I said zezei looked at me shrieking  before hopping off the cave ledge flying I smiled jogging back to Mo'at as we walked I glanced back at Neteyam who smiled as he entered his family's mauri.

I entered the mauri she placed her hand on her shoulder making me crouch down "Explain to me, what is wrong?," she said I could see the worry in her eyes I started speaking explaining to her what Jake told me it turned eclipse.

I woke up from the link chamber opening it, sitting up Nia and Ma rushed over to me Lighting just entering the shack seeing me he ran over "Jammie we have something to say," Nia said Ma nodded hastily Lighting settled next to us "Me too," I said excitedly they looked at each other then back at me "You first," I didn't know why but the looked saddened especially Lighting who kept quiet.

"The Sully family is leaving and I'm going with them jake's orders," I said looking to my friends Ma looked crushed and Nia wrapped her hands around her they nodded "Jammie, Lighting is getting put on mission with the colonel me included," Nia said holding Ma "What..," I said the smile on my face faded disheartened.

"So we won't be here...," Lightning said I got off the link unit pulling them into a group hug Ma held onto me "Just promise me you guys will come back alive...," I said they let go of me Ma holding onto me "We will, I promise," Nia said lightheartedly, Lighting nodded I  smiled wrapping my arms around them again.
