New sanctuary?

I wake up half expecting myself to be dead or back at the lab waking up. My yellow brown eyes open to see a bright light "Am I dead, am I with ewya..?," I mumbled my vision blurry as I see a figure.

"No your not dead and your not with Ewya," I hear a calm voice say I feel something on my head I go to feel it but my hand gets hit back I hiss my sight finally returning to me, I look up at the figure and see a fierce looking woman.

I sit up and she hisses at me to sit back down "Ah lay back down your wounds are not great but it will hurt," she says pressing her hand on my chest I can't help but laugh "Nah I've had worse this is nothing I'm surprised I'm not dead," I looked to the woman realizing she's Na'vi my head rings.

I groan she hands me a wooden bowl I stare at it the continents then at her she tskes holding it out to me impatiently I nodded thankful "Um thank you..," I put it to my lips nearly gagging at the bitter taste but I chuck it down in one gulp.

The Na'vi woman stares at me with an amused smile "Um I'm sorry to ask this but how did I get here?," I say placing the bowl done gently she picks it up "Our olo'eyktan brought you back on his ikran," she said calmly focusing on packing up her healing supplies.

I nodded remembering what happened back "Oh uh thank you um..," I say holding my head "Mo'at, and you are very welcome child," I nod watching as the Na'vi healer gets up and leave the mauri from what I observed I sat up glancing around it, it was filled with healing instruments some I've never seen but that was the beauty of the Na'vi I sigh.

"Shes awake Kiri," I hear a whisper shout I turn to the doorway of the mauri and see the Na'vi girl that I had saved and who I owed a thanks too as she saved me "Ewya works in mysterious ways," I thought the girl turned back to me shrieking as she saw me looking at her.

"Tuk.. leave her be," the older girl 'Kiri' said as she entered the mauri glancing over to me "Hi...," I say nervously she smiles softly at me Tuk jumps up and enters walking slowly In-front of me "she's very cheery," I think Kiri crouches down handing me a bowl cautiously I scan it uncertainly "Is it bitter?," I asked taking the bowl from her hands.

She rolls her eyes with a smile "Try it," she says sarcastically Tuk crouches by her and staring at me full of wonder and happiness I bring the bowl to my lips surprised by the tangy taste "Wow... it actually taste really good," i say I say with a amused chuckle as i down the bowl licking my lips Kiri gives me a gentle smile and Tuk giggles "Thank you for helping me," Tuk says taking me free hand I couldn't help but smile glancing at Kiri who nods.

"You're welcome... you reminded me of someone..," i say looking down to find my locket just to see it missing my heart stops "Who?," before i could answer her question or even say anything about my locket I feel the eyes of someone staring at me I snap my head up quickly which catches the attention of Kiri and Tuk who look up to see what i was staring at.

My eyes meet golden ones my ears twitch as they pierce me looking serious it was the Na'vi boy who nearly shot me with the arrow.. "Neteyam?," i hear Kiri say quietly "You guys know you shouldn't be here and dad's coming so you need to leave before he spots the both of you," the boy says Tuk pouts looking at me and Kiri rolls her eyes sighing "Come on Tuk..," she says picking up her little sister the girl waving at me i breath in waving back watching the both of them leave.

Expecting the boy 'Neteyam' to leave i look up but he's still there staring at me, my hand subconsciously moving to my neck searching for my locket i grit my teeth as i didn't feel it "Here... it fell off your neck when my dad threw you over his shoulder," i hear the male's voice i look up to him seeing him hand me my locket staring at me "You know its rude to stare i'm not an animal," i say scoffing taking the locket from his hand.

My fingers grazing his blue-stripped fingers by accident as i pick my locket up pulling it to my chest breathing in slowly "Thanks..," I said he nods at me backing away i notice his muscles tense "Your welcome and i'm sorry for trying to kill you and for... the staring," he looks away i couldn't help but smile "Its alright i know i'm easy on the eyes," i say jokingly smiling the boy looks up rolling his eyes at me with a smile which he hide looking down his braids shielding his face i chuckle.

I hear footsteps coming this way my ears perk up so those my head I crouch up staring at the entrance past Neteyam whose head turned swiftly his braids swinging gently the elder Na'vi male from the forest walks in with a female Na'vi her gold eyes sharply laying on my brown amber ones.

The man enters and I notice an avatar with him "Woah talk about making an entrance," I mumble under my breath "I see your awake," he says I cant help but sense some familiarity from him I nodded "Yea I woke up a while ago..," I said my eyes glancing from him to the avatar who crouched down next to him "Kid we need to ask you questions can you do that?," the older guys asks.

"Do I have a choice?," I say staring at him "No.," the female Na'vi outside says I bow my head to her she looked stressed I could see it in her eyes "Probably for the safety of her family," I thought turning back to the two males "Ask away you helped me so I have nothing to hide," the older male smiled a bit turning to the avatar "Good the names Norm spellman," the avatar says I smile "Jammie Moon," I say turning to the other Na'vi male "Jake Sully and that is my wife Neytiri," my eyes widen but I hide my happiness and turn to the female bowing my head at her again then the questions started.

Neteyam's pov 

I observed the avatar girl she has long curly straight black hair and golden eyes but with a dark brown mix she looks a lot like a normal Navi but her clothes and they way she speaks throw out the idea of her being one of the people.

But I can't help but feel her aura it has a strong bond of safety and gentleness I observe her as she spoke to my father holding her necklace close to her chest feeling a sense of warmth come over me I walk away over to my shxawngs of siblings.

Tuk and Kiri closely crouching near the mauri ease dropping Tuk leaning on the ground listening in "What are you guys doing what if mom and dad see you?," I said whispering over at them Kiri looked up at me "Come on bro you can't say your not the least curious about the avatar girl," I hear Lo'ak say I turn rolling my eyes at him "He isn't denying it," Kiri says with a shrug.

Tuk ignores us watching the avatar girl getting interrogated by dad "What's she saying?," Kiri asked Tuk who looks up at us excitedly "Her name is Jammie Moon," Tuk said smiling I glance at the entrance of the mauri "Jammie..," I mumbled.

Lo'ak turns to me "Did you say something bro?," I look up at him smiling "No just thinking," I say Lo'ak shrugs creeping over to Kiri and Tuk ease dropping with them "You guys are gonna get caught," I hissed at them Kiri turns to me smiling "And if we don't?," she says looking up at me with a huff I take off my bow placing it down gently before crawling towards them settling down next to them.

"Welcome to the gang bro," Lo'ak tells me I side eye him smacking his head Kiri laughs quietly and Tuk smiles up at us before continuing to listen.

Back to my pov 

"So you're an Avatar?," I nod at Mr norm "Yea," I say touching the bandages on my head "That's gonna be a problem," I hear Mr Jake say under his breath "Did anyone see you knock out the re com?," he asks me I look down thinking hard my memory slowly fade in and I replay the scene in my head Wainfleet noticed me sneaking over to z dog.

I gritted my teeth looking up at Mr Jake regrettably I nod "Yea, Wainfleet saw me sneaking over to z dog," I said internally hitting myself "I'm such an idiot," I say under my breath Jake and Norm look at each other unsure before Jake looks at Neytiri they nod at each before standing up.

"Thanks kid just sit tight until we get a plan," Mr norm says I watch them leave I inhale and sigh falling back onto the ground "What a predicament I put myself through," I said out loud closing my eyes while resting how the hell was I gonna get myself out..
