Dangerous situation

Lo'ak, Neteyam and I were pulled away from the fight and basically dragged back to the mauri I wiped off my bleeding nose leaving a small blood trail down my lip "As soon as I think I'm on Mr Jake's good side this happens..," I gritted my teeth.

We reached inside of the mauri standing in front of us an angered sully "What was the one thing I said to do!," Mr Jake said angrily my ears flicked "Stay out of trouble," Lo'ak and I said in unison.

"Stay out of trouble!," Mr Jake said angrily he turned to me "You're not supposed to be getting into fights.," he said to me pissed I looked up regrettably "One of those clown fishes tried to get a hit Kiri so I... you know rocked his shit," i muttered the last part looking away.

Mr Jake held his temples about to say something when Neteyam intervened holding out his hands walking in-front of Mr Sully "It was my fault," he said looking up at his father solemnly I glanced at him "Yea I don't think so, you need to stop taking the heat for these knuckleheads," I groaned internally glancing up at Mr Jake.

"Look dad Ao'nung was picking on Kiri, he called her a freak," Neteyam backed up swaying a bit, I gritted my teeth holding my locket looking up I saw Mr Jakes's gaze soften a bit probably taken aback he sighed.

"Go apologize to Ao'nung..," my head snapped up at Mr Sully's words "But-," he side glanced me I sighed reluctantly he turned back to Lo'ak "Just go," he continued Lo'ak looked up at his father Neteyam looked at him then glanced at me.

The youngest sully boy walked off I bit the inside of my lip before rushing after him feeling eyes on me as I left "Are you really going to apologize?," I said raising a brow Lo'ak turned to with a sigh "Well what else can I do?," he tsked.

I rolled my eyes "Just come back quickly to get those bruises cleaned," I said worriedly nodding to his scratches and small cuts he smiled a little with a nod "Can't promise that," he said smirking before I could say anything Lo'ak walked off.

I stared as he walked off rolling my eyes Kiri coming into my view "Jammie are you alright?," she said worriedly rushing over to me I nodded "Yeah its nothing new," I shrugged she half smiled before taking out some ointments and some clothe.

"Here, I would help you but I need to help Lo'ak.. where is he by the way?," I smirked taking the supplies from Kiri "You just missed him but you might catch him if you walk fast enough," I pointed in the direction Lo'ak walked off in Kiri turned to me with a nod "Thanks Jammie," I smiled watching as she walked off it slowly fading.

With a sigh I turned seeing Neteyam in the distance the waves soothing me with it's sounds, the boy's eyes focused on the bouncy walkway scratching the back of his neck exhaustively he looked up his eyes slowly focusing on me.

"Let me help you with your wounds," I said smiling raising up the ointments Kiri gave he smiled, nodding to me to follow him we walked side by side reaching to the spot where he taught me how to use an arrow.

"Sit," I said turning to him I placed the ointments on the sand keeping the cloths close so they wouldn't get dirty from the sand the Sully boy sat on a dry log resting on the sand near a palm tree I walked to the water wetting the clothe making my way back to him and crouching down to his eye level.

Neteyam watched me intently as I cleaned his chest wound wiping away the blood I huffed out a chuckle "What?," he said leaning his head down I looked up his face being the first thing I see "They really bested you, huh?," he looked at me confused smirking.

Shacking his head with a smirk he looked at me "You should have seen how they looked," his voice was quieter than usual it was nice? my eyes fidgeted from him noticing his busted lip I brought the cloth to it he hissed gripping my arm I laughed.
