chapter 10: The fight.

Leah sat quietly on ashton's bed , his room was by far the coolest guys room she had ever been into it was really tidy and the sound systems and games were off the hook.one could spend forever in his room.
"Can I see it?"she asked Ashton who was at the other end of the room looking at his computer.
"What?"
"i know you are reading the comments on my picture.your forehead has been creasing for the past half hour.....are they that bad?"she asked quietly.she seemed so tired
"Not really"
"Then let me see it " she pleaded.he walked towards the bed and sat close to her she wanted to curl up to him because he smelt so good "Thanks " she said as she looked at the laptop "That's a real friend. She looks like a hoe.i am sure she just used this as an excuse to get naked . She is so sexy.i want her body, please. # friendship goals. "Do you think it will go viral?"
"Who do you want to block it from? "
"Papa " she whispered
"I could try " he said .vivienne did tell her that Ashton was by far smarter than her , that he had a chance to study at MIT but he chickened out at the last minute.he once wrote a book with binary as letters .
"Thanks " she gave a half smile.few minutes later he was still looking intensely at his computer " your dad is into some wild porn " he chuckled
"Eww " she laughed which was her first time laughing all day . The picture of her popped up on the screen and his face immediately went sour " what's wrong?"
"He just got it.i was going to corrupt the file but it was too lat...."Her phone started ringing she slowly held her phone and looked at the screen " it's him " she slowly said , she put the phone on her ear after some seconds of trying to calm her nerve   " Papa? "She said.
Leah was quiet all through but only said " i am sorry 'once and then finally she said "Goodbye " then ended the call.
"How was it? On a scale of 1-10"
"500" she said. he chuckled and she gave a tiny smile too her phone beeped and she held it to read a message " who is it from? "
"Vivienne...she says she will be a little bit late she has plans with....brad"
"We could hang out while you wait"
"Or i could just go to vivienne's room"
"Please stay " he held her hand , she slowly nodded after some seconds
"i will stay on one condition"
"What is it?"
"Why didn't you go to MIT? "
"Wow. You get straight to the point"
"it's kind of my specialty"
"Well Uhh " he rubbed his palms against his trousers , she knew talks like this  always made him uncomfortable but she just had to know"...It wasn't one reason in particular it was more a couple of reasons jumbled up into one anxiety attack " he joked
"tell me the reasons"
"i can only tell you one"

"Fine...you are so good at bargaining"
"No you are just terrible at it"
"Vivienne was just entering into high school " he said  but she knew it was more than that and he was only scratching at the surface " i didn't think i was good enough and I was scared of what came next.you know ,what comes after MIT.the job offers, the pressure for you to do something extraordinary.i just didn't want to live my life living up to people's expectations"
"Make sense "she smiled
"i technically gave you 3 reasons.i need something in return"
"What " she smiled up at him but he just reminded quiet, then he leaned down cupped her face in his palm and kissed her.everything about Ashton made her brain send her red warning signs his smile, his eyes, his laughter, his hair, his body and whenever he kissed her he was more or less proving her brain right ,because everything in her just melts and it's like she is having her first kiss all over again he gently nibbled at her lower lip before pulling away. She slowly opened her eyes and looked at him their head were still together and they were so close they were breathing thesame air.he slowly licked his lips in the sexiest way she had ever seen, then he leaned down and gave her a brief kiss on the lip it barely lasted a second.
"You gave me a bonus. It's only right to return the favour " she wrapped her arms around his neck and crashed her lips to his,his hands were wrapped firmly around her waist he slowly lifted her up and placed her on his leg now she was straddling him.
"Leah " vivienne called
"Vivienne is home " Ashton said.but leah was too lost to understand his words " leah " he pulled away
"Hmn"
"Vivienne " he said
"Shit"she chuckled before going off his body
"There you are " vivienne walked into the room"i just wanted to briefly check up on you before I head out"
"Head out where?"
"i told you brad and I were hanging out"
"You are unbelievable"
"What's that supposed to mean?!!?"
"i walked through the school with my underwear for you, the least you could do is atleast ask me how I am doing"
"That's what I came to do! And besides you had your time in the sun.you are all over the Internet as the hero best friend. "
"Are you even listening to yourself?!I am all over the Internet IN MY UNDERWEAR!!"
"i knew you were going to do this!"
"Do what?"
"Blame me for what happend and try and hold me back"
"What the fuck are you talking about??!?!"
"With brad! I know you don't like me hanging out with him"
"You are so stupid!! How did our conversation change from us to your boyfriend? You are so in over your head, just because you got a feel of the 'popular ' life"
"You are just jealous because for once it's not all about you leah"
"You are a fool if you think it's now about you " leah walked out of the room and into the hallway and vivienne stormed after her.
"We aren't done with our conversation"
"Yes we are.infact everything between us is done! I was such a fool to think this was a real friendship , all you wanted was to become popular"
"You take that back!"
"Fuck you"
"You are being  a spoilt, stupid brat! I didn't ask you to take off your clothes that was all on you"
"You didn't have to ask because I thought we were friends!"she looked at Ashton " about that date.my answer is yes"
"Great " Ashton smiled, he has been trying to seem as invisible as possible so neither of them will ask his opinion concerning the fight.
"Date!?? !"vivienne stared daggers at him. this is exactly why he tried to avoid getting involved with females fighting " you asked my friend out on a date?!"
"I am not your friend vivienne boyle .get that into your thick head"
"Fine! Get your stupid ass out of my house then " vivienne yelled after leah who was halfway down the stairs.
"Whore!"leah yelled
"Bitch!"vivienne yelled back
"Slut!"leah yelled before shutting the door firmly
"Ska..."vivienne tired yelling but it wasn't fufuling now that leah wouldn't hear it "urggghhh! !!"she stomped her foot as she walked into her room and also firmly shut the door behind her leaving Ashton alone in the doorway " i wonder what I should wear for my date?"he said thinking out loud.
