I had a busy day so technically this is getting posted on a Sunday at 12:25 A.M but if I haven't gone to sleep yet it's still Saturday to me

You smoothed out the wrinkles in your shirt as you waited for Bakugo outside of Star and Stripes Agency.

You didn't really plan for anything too formal when you packed for America, so you didn't have many outfits to choose from.

You didn't have any dresses, so that option was off the table because you weren't going to take the time to rush out and buy one. However, you did have a few dress shirts and some pants that weren't leggings or jeans.

With the help of Shinso, you ended up settling on an outfit that didn't look horrendous and didn't freeze you out.

You wore black dress pants with flared bottoms that hid your bare ankles, and you had charcoal heels that enveloped your feet. You wore a white blouse on your upper half, the hem of it tucked neatly into your pants, and a stormy gray bomber jacket to keep yourself warmer.

You didn't do much in terms of makeup. In fact, you didn't really do anything. You simply washed your face and did some skincare. You hadn't realized until now that you didn't really know how to do makeup, good makeup. However, that wasn't an issue. You knew Bakugo preferred your normal complexion anyway.

"You've gotta be fucking kidding me."

You perked up at the sound of Bakugo's voice and turned to find your boyfriend standing a few feet behind you.

And he was wearing the exact same outfit.

Well, it wasn't exactly the same, but it was close.

He wore a white dress shirt, but his was clearly built for a masculine stature, and black dress pants as well, but the bottom of his weren't flared like yours. He had black dress shoes housing his feet and a classic black jacket keeping himself warm.

"It's not exactly the same," you said, noticing Bakugo's frustration. "Besides, we're a couple. We can be twinsies."

"I'm gonna pretend you didn't just say that," Bakugo replied before holding out his hand, "and I'm not going back inside to change, so I guess we're being a cringy couple tonight."

"You love it," you stated while sticking your tongue out childishly. Bakugo rolled his eyes, jutting his hand out further.

You placed your hand in his palm, and he immediately adjusted so that your fingers were comfortably intertwined with his as the two of you began walking.

"So where're we going?" you asked.

"Somewhere," he answered shortly, and you playfully slapped his shoulder.

"Specifics," you pestered.

"You said you wanted it to be a surprise," Bakugo replied with narrowed eyes. "Wait until we get there."

"But I'm impatient," you huffed. Bakugo rolled his eyes.

"Trust me, I know," he said, causing you to lightly pinch his bicep with the hand that wasn't interlocked with his.

"Well, it's clearly some place fancy if you took the time to dress this nicely," you pointed out.

"I always dress nice," Bakugo argued, "just not this formal, and don't get used to it. These are the only dress clothes I own, so it's back to sweats tomorrow."

"As long as it's not jeans, I'll take it as a win," you joked with a small chuckle.

A small growl slipped past Bakugo's lips at your statement, and you yelped when he abruptly stopped you by close-lining your stomach with his free arm, which he then wrapped around your waist before pinching your hip.
