I forgot to post Monday so today y'all get a double update 🌝 my bad
————————————————————

You watched from the peak of the Gunga Mountains as Edge Shot's team stormed the Paranormal Liberation Front's headquarters.

You waited for your signal patiently, observing the scene from a distance in silence.

You were forced to watch quietly as pillars collapsed and walls exploded, as floors caved in and windows shattered.

You couldn't move in, not yet. You needed the signal. If you entered before that, you could disrupt the plan.

Then again, the plan was already going south. You could see the pros taking damage, you could see some of your classmates, who were only brought along for logistical help, fighting along side their mentors.

When did you ever listen to your head over your heart?

You used your strings to swiftly lower yourself into the center of the headquarters, which had practically just become a ginormous pile of rubble.

You saw Hawks brawling with Twice on one of the upper levels. You saw Dabi sneaking around within the shadows. You saw the pros trying to apprehend as many low-life members of the organization as they could.

Regardless of if they were losing or winning, you couldn't intervene with that part of the plan. You had to find your mother and Bakugo.

There's no way the villains would keep them above ground. That was too risky. They had to be somewhere beneath your feet, but the ground could only remain stable for so long. You had to work fast.

You hopped the railing surrounding the first floor of the building before beginning to tap away at tiles, trying to find a hollow spot that could indicate open space beneath the floor.

You occasionally checked your surroundings to make sure no villains were lurking around, and ready to jump you as you continued investigating.

It took searching half of the floor to locate a pair of false tiles, which were easy to remove due to the buildings weakening structure.

It was dark below the floor, but it was clear there was some sort of open space, so you scanned your surroundings once more to make sure no one was watching before lowering yourself underground.

The sound of your feet hitting the floor echoed throughout the tunnel, and you found yourself encased in utter darkness.

You allowed your eyes to adjust to the change in environment before pulling out your burner phone, turning on its flashlight, and starting forward.

The tunnel seemed endless. You left as if you were slowly going insane the more you walked. However, just as you were about to turn around and backtrack to see if you had missed anything, you reached the end of the tunnel where two doors were embedded into the wall.

"This feels like a bad idea..." you muttered, but, oh well, it was just another one to add to the running list.

You decided to enter the left of the two doors first, which revealed a small, lab-like room.

A purple hue illuminated the space, which allowed you to turn off your phone's flashlight and still be able to see what was around you.

You soon discovered that the source of the purple illumination was a capsule in the corner of the room.

Inside, floating in god knows what type of fluid, was the villain leader and commander of the Paranormal Liberation front.

Your phone began to vibrate in your grasp, and you answered the call without pulling your eyes away from Shigaraki.
