You were officially bedridden after your recent appointment. Well, also couch-ridden depending on where you wanted to rest.

Either way, you were forbidden from going outside unless you were supervised, and Aizawa went on leave in order to take care of you. He cooked your meals and tended to your needs.

Bakugo stopped by every day after school and even took the time to bring Shinso with him on the weekends.

You weren't given much information about Midoriya's disappearance, who you still had a foggy memory of. Bakugo didn't want to confuse you any further, and he favored just having the time you two spent together revolve around the two of you only.

It was week two of your isolation when an idea sprung into your mind while you and Bakugo were watching reruns of Dance Moms, which your boyfriend got a scary amount of joy out of.

"Kat," you mumbled into the boy's shoulder, which is where your head was resting.

He hummed, fingers dancing along your far bicep, courtesy of the arm he had wrapped around your back.

"We should get married."

The statement sounded completely insane coming out of your mouth, and Bakugo must've felt the same way because he was shooting up into a sitting position before you could pry yourself off of him.

"What the hell are you on?"

You managed a genuine smile at his strained questioned and bewildered expression.

"I'm serious," you stated. "I wanna marry you before I die."

Bakugo huffed through his nose, still clearly in disbelief at your request. However, he still managed to calm down enough to sit beside you once more and use what you liked to call his indoor voice.

"I know you've got limited time," he said, "but don't do things just because you feel like you owe me something."

"Did I ever say that?" you questioned, reaching out to brush his bags away from his eyes, which had softened greatly over time. "I'm being serious. I want to marry you. Besides, what's stopping us? We're legal."

"The fact that our overprotective sensei in upstairs," he stated obviously, and you rolled your eyes.

"We'll just say we're going out to eat," you began. "I'm allowed to go out with supervision, and he trusts me with you. He won't question it."

Bakugo wore a hesitant expression. However, he was considering your words, slowly but surely.

"I don't have a ring," he eventually said, and you quirked a smile.

"I don't need one," you replied.

"You deserve one," he countered. "I told you in the hospital I'd buy you a ring even if you couldn't wear it. If we're doing this, you're gonna wear a damn ring."

"Fine," you gave in before obnoxiously waving your finger in his face to exaggerate your following point, "but I'm fine without a dress. We can't be out for too long or else Aizawa will get suspicious."

"Deal," he rushed out, grabbing your hand. "Let's go."

"Hold up now," you chucked, yet you allowed your boyfriend to pull you to your feet. "We need to use our excuse first."

"No you don't."

You and Bakugo whipped around to face the bottom of the stairwell to find Aizawa standing a few yards away, leaning against the wall with his arms crossed.

"Here," he said, unraveling his arms to reveal a small velvet box, which he tossed to Bakugo.

The blond caught it, flipping the lid open with his thumb to reveal two simplistic rings. The first was a thinner silver band with a red gem, and the second was a thicker silver band that lacked any patterns or additional details.

"Why do you have wedding rings lying around?" Bakugo scoffed.

"My parents left them for me, said I should use them for when I get married," he explained shortly, "but I'm thirty-two and nowhere near that stage yet. Besides, Yamada's enough of a handful, and I already have two dozen students to look after."

"Are you sure?" you asked. "You're okay with two of your trouble prone students running off in the middle of the night to get married?"

Aizawa pulled his phone out of his pocket, checking the time momentarily before saying, "the church on 21st closes at ten. It's only a ten minute drive," he gestured toward the key rack nailed to the wall near the front door. "Don't wreck my car."

You and Bakugo immediately rushed to grab your coats to protect yourselves from the winter weather.

You spared Aizawa a thankful smile as you and Bakugo headed out the front door, completely diving head-first into the pool of teenage love surrounding the two of you.

Although, you supposed you did that a long time ago. Now, you were just putting a ring on it.
