Chapter 5

It hits Donghyuck right in the chest. He hung his mouth open, shifted his eyes at Dr Kim who was definitely not paying attention to them.

What do you mean by that?

Why are you asking me do you know me?

What is going on?

"Baby, I think you're confuse..." Donghyuck grabs Mark's hand slowly diving it in to hold but Mark pulled back his hand and Donghyuck was taken aback by it.

"I'm so sorry, did you happen to be in the wrong room?"

"Mark, it's me... Donghyuck."

"And you are?" Mark blinked.

"Your fiancé..." He sternly said it.

Mark widened his eyes, he shook his head slowly, mumbling incoherent words under his breath.

"I-I don't understand..." Mark placed his hand above his head, suppressing his thoughts.

"Dr Kim!" Donghyuck waved his hand, asking him to come near them.

"Is everything okay, Donghyuck?"

"No, everything is not okay." Donghyuck pulled Dr Kim closer to his face and whispers. "He doesn't know who I am."

Dr Kim frowned, checking back on Mark's state. He was getting annoyed with all the constant examination. "Can I just get my family?" Mark asked, feeling agitated.

Yuta and Jaehyun went in forcefully since they waited too long outside. They barged inside to see Donghyuck face turns red.

"We're really sorry but we waited long enough. You okay Donghyuck?" Yuta exclaimed, pacing in closer.

"Hey Mark..." Jaehyun waved awkwardly.

"Now who are them." He asked Dr Kim sternly.

"What the hell?" Yuta flinched, feeling a bit startled. He glances at Jaehyun who shrugged his shoulders, not knowing what's going on as well.

Donghyuck stood up from his stool, dragging Jaehyun and Yuta to the side and explain to them Mark might've been confused since he just woke up from 3 months coma. Both of them nodded simultaneously, thinking it was all normal.

The door suddenly opened with Mark's parent holding their breath.

"Mark!" His mother ran to him, hugging him.

Much to Donghyuck shock, Mark was hugging his mother back and little did he know. Mark was crying.

"Mom, where you've been. I don't even know how I had gotten here..." He sobs, his dad was also beside him, softly rubs the back of his head.

Donghyuck pushed his friends away and headed out feeling demented. He doesn't understand a single thing that's been going on. Mark treats him like a stranger and when he thought it was just him, he even did that to his own friends.

Yuta catches him front behind, spun him around. "C'mon Donghyuck, like you said he must be confused right now."

"He's not confused, he's really pissing me off. Calling out to his parents? What!?" He pushes Yuta's hand away from his shoulder. Yuta and Jaehyun spare glances with each other, thinking of a way to talk the the lad.

Dr Kim was right behind, catching his breath, he shook his head. "Donghyuck, wait..."

Donghyuck soften his cold demeanor, he wasn't all that to begin with.

"I misdiagnosed him..." Dr Kim muttered.

"What do you mean?" Donghyuck furrowed his eyebrows, took a step closer to Dr Kim. The doctor handed him the report from his file.
