Mark entered his office with the staff looking at him suspiciously. They were whispering and indistinct chatter could be heard across the floor.
He paces quickly inside his office and even catch of glimpse of Renjun emptied desk. He frowned; the latter were usually there.
He opens the door to his office and was surprised to see his parents sat across his office couch.
"Hey..." He greeted them.
His mother stood up quickly, she ran over by his side hugging him tight.
"I missed you so much!" She said, giving her son a peck on the cheek.
"I miss you too. You didn't tell me you arrived. I should have pick you up myself at the airport."
"No need for that son."
His mother pulled him down for a sit as they both stood in front of him.
"What's wrong?" he asked looking at them with his brows knitted.
The door was knocked, and his dad calls them in. Giselle was by the door. Finally, he had seen her too.
"Well, hello?" Mark stood up, questioning their presence at his office.
"Mark, I never had been more disappointing in you." His father stated, with his arms folded.
"Dearly, why did you have to do this. Your father and I had made it clear about that boy."
"Boy? This is about Donghyuck?" he said sternly, feeling the disrespect his parents had for the tanned male.
"Your parents know about your activities with him, Mark." Giselle finally spokes.
Mark follows her movement as she paces closer to him, standing right to him. All this interrogation is starting to make him feeling upset.
His mother was trying to calm him down, suggesting him to sit again but he refused drastically.
"Look, I'm sorry about all of this but I understand why I had fallen for him before, I was in love with him."
"In love?" His father scoffed. "You must be too crazy in your head to call that love."
"Honey, that kind of love won't bring you an heir to succeed after you..."
Mark's mother started to form tears in her eyes, her nose was all stuffy and red as she brings her small handkerchiefs to wipe out her tears.
"An heir? Mom, I could get you all the heir you needed if you could support me for once?" Mark exclaimed with his trembling body, he felt like he's gonna lose it soon.
"Support on which God forbid!" His father started to yell.
Everyone startled to for a moment. His mother finally breaks down, falling on her knee, crying excessively. Mark shakes his head, nearing his mother, trying to soothe her down.
"Mark, this is exactly how you left us before... I can't stand losing my son again." She stammered between her words; she seems so devastated that Mark never actually had seen his mother this way.
I must have hurt her so bad.
"If you like seeing your mother like this, you can go to him."
"Dearly, he doesn't like you as much as you do. I told you he was manipulative all along..."
"What do you mean?" He frowned again; this time it feels like he had enough with his family constant mockery on them.
Giselle then steps closer to them, clearing a throat to get their attention.
