Mark went to his office, drove by his interim driver since Jisung was still out of town.
He hoped to see Renjun or even Chenle just for a peace in mind.
Once the car stopped, he headed out immediately before being greeted by his mother assistant.
"Mr Moon." Mark gave him a head nod and shake his hand while at it.
"So glad to see you." The assistant beams him a smile, pushing his glasses back to his nose bridge.
"I heard you were out of town for so long that you forgot your way back here." He teased the lad making him chuckled.
"Your mother proposal is a lot, and she's only one person. I guess I've been splitting myself up for the sake of work."
They walked together, passes around few chatters before they were completely in.
Moon Taeil is his mother longtime and trusted assistant. Mark recalled him working when he was still in school.
Just like how Jeno was his father assistant, Taeil was somehow very loyal, there are almost time Mark thought his mother would just cheat since the assistant was just to perfect as a man.
It surprised him much that he was able to remember Taeil, maybe because he used to be there for him more than his parents were.
As they were walking quietly to the director's room, Mark stops his step making the assistant turned to him as well.
"What are my parents doing?" He raised a brow.
Taeil clears his throat, trying to get things straightened out. "It is regarding you and trust me the only thing I know what's this about is you."
Mark flashes annoyed across his face; he shook his head while clicking on his tongue.
Taeil gestured with his eye to keep on going, the latter scowl rolling his eyes and do what's been asked.
Soon they arrived, Taeil pushes the door open for Mark as he steps in.
His father was by the desk and his mother standing by the side. Their eyes simultaneously lift up to him as he enters the room.
"Dearly..." his mother calls.
He hummed, bowing at them and goes straight to his father desk.
"May I know what's this about?" He didn't look straight into their eyes, instead his eyes caught the paper laying at the desk.
"You didn't go home last night." The director questioned.
"I'm an adult and am capable of taking care of myself." Mark scoffed.
His mother shakes her head, mouthing to her son to be on his best behavior seems his father was distressed.
"Let's get straight into it if that what you wanted..."
"Yes, please?" He pretended to look at his wristwatch, indicating it's time.
"We're arranging your marriage to Giselle."
Mark shot his eyes at his parents.
"Without my consent?" He yelled, his veins were popping from his forehead, trying his best to remain calm.
"Mark, this is for your best." His father said.
"And yours! Tell me exactly why you are doing this?"
His father stood up, slamming the paper in his desk. Everyone flinched including Taeil who stood quiet by the corner of the room.
One of the papers fly and landed right in front of Mark. He took it from the ground and read through it.
