A week had passed since the terrible incident at The Lee's mansion.

Mark excused himself from work, having him locked up in his room. He was losing appetite; he was losing interest from doing anything.

His mother stops by his room from time to time, but he didn't care.

Their wedding will still be proceeding as planned.

The two families had come to an agreement and much to their surprise, Mark took notice and agreed to it as well.

Maybe this way he could erase Donghyuck from his thoughts, maybe this way he could move on and just go with whatever his family give to him.

He lazily went downstairs for breakfast, and he was looking dreadful.

Mark hasn't contact Donghyuck, well he did few days ago, but he was pretty sure he was being blocked by the tanned.

But still texted Taeyong but the latter won't update anything about Donghyuck- and he was doing it on purpose.

"Good morning, Mark."

His father said while reading on his newspaper. Mark hummed in response.

His mother was there too, beaming a smile at him as she eyed him sitting across her.

Mark sat down, taking the bread in front of him. He then took a glimpse of the newspaper front cover.

It was a shot of Johnny Suh – the top supermodel, flashing what it looks like to be Mark's design.

He tilted his head further to read what was written, his father unnoticed – fold the paper in half, continue to sip on his morning tea.

Mark jerked back quickly, pretending that he was looking for a butter to spread on his bread.

"How are you?" His mother asked.

"Never better, I guess." He faked a smile.

"You can't dismiss your work again by tomorrow.  Make sure to gear yourself up."

His father stated, Mark nodded slightly, forcing the bread to his mouth. He chewed on it slowly.

He wasn't hungry, he tried to get himself back again and regain his composure.

That's when he scrolls down his phone and realized he has a follow up check up with Dr Kim.

Jisung was back to work for the family again and he was more than happy to resume his duty.

But he was disappointed to know what Mark had done to Donghyuck in order to bring him back.

The driver was by the door, came knocking to gather their attention.

"Good morning Mr and Mrs Lee. Your son needs to be reminded that he has to go to the hospital today." Jisung bow his head slightly and headed out to his car.

Mark's parents insist on him to go and make sure to update to whatever found mystery – a cure – if any.

Yes, a cure.

Mark headache gotten worse after the commotion. He intentionally skips on his prescription medication.

He had thought of dying once too.

Jisung opens the door for the lad, escorting him in. They really didn't talk again, and it was just simply awkward to strike a conversation.

Mark sat near the window, rolling it down to feel the fresh breeze as the car accelerated.

"How's Chenle doing?" Mark asked, not breaking his amid stare for his outside view.

Jisung clears his throat, he glances over to Mark by his back mirror. "He's fine, he misses Renjun though."
