Donghyuck secretly planned his way to go to Mark's old office. He practically knew where it was since it was all over the news about his family famous fabric company.
He couldn't tell Yuta and the rest and even Jaemin because if he did, they would probably strangle him.
He stood tiredly in front of the massive corporate building in the middle of the city. He squinted his eyes, comparing the photo from his phone to make sure he was at the right place.
There were securities at the entrance and seems like they've been checking everyone that passed them. Donghyuck paced in slowly, gulping down his throat in nervousness. He stood in front of a very tall and muscular guard; he bops his head.
"Hello, I would like to meet a very important person inside?" He asked, clutching to his new bag that Taeyong made for him.
"Do you have a visitor pass?" He asked seriously, not breaking his eye contact with the other passerby.
"Well, no." Donghyuck scowled, raises his hand in the air, amid defeat.
"Sorry, you can only enter if you already register for the visitor pass." The security putting his hands out, giving him a no.
"How can I get the visitor pass?" Donghyuck was feeling irked to the core, this damn family business.
"That if only you make an appointment with the appointed person." The security stated, still eyeing the passerby at the same time.
"But I can't make an appointment. Look, I wanted to meet Mark Lee. It's really important, if you can help m-"
"Mark Lee?"
Donghyuck turned around, flinching after hearing that name from behind him.
"I'm sorry but do you guys know each other?" Donghyuck asked, stepping closer to stranger.
"Well, yes since apparently, he's my boss." The young lad said, smiling. "I'm Renjun."
He took his hand out, Donghyuck quickly responded to his handshakes.
"I'm Lee Donghyuck." He introduced himself shyly.
"I felt like I've seen you somewhere." Renjun walked in circle, passing Donghyuck a judgy look. He rubs his chin, clicking on his tongue as he went and then he snapped his fingers.
"Wait, you're his boyfriend!" He exclaimed.
Donghyuck dragged Renjun to the side, hushing him. Renjun pulled his hand off Donghyuck forcefully, yelping as if he was in pain.
"Please, I'm not here to cause trouble." He pleads, clasping his hand together.
"You caused more than you thought." Renjun rolled his eyes.
Donghyuck sighed, not Mark own employees hated him too. His eyes threatened to spill as he tried his best not to burst out crying. Renjun blinked, he went closer to check on Donghyuck who eyes already swelled. His whole demeanor quickly changed.
"I'm sorry if I was too harsh." His tone now changed to more genuine. Donghyuck inhaled, trying to calm his state.
He gestured Donghyuck to follow him at lobby. The guard stopping them again. "He's with me..." Renjun said. They were both allowed in.
They sat at the very corner of the secluded lobby.
"May I know why you're here actually." Renjun said, this time he sounded more serious. He felt bad on making Donghyuck – almost- cried just now.
"I need to see Mark, I just wanted to talk." Donghyuck almost choked on his word, he was about to cry.
"You do know, your present here is gonna spark riot later on." Renjun stated.
