Stream rised in the air from the clash of ice and fire, covering the courtyard we've been brawling in for a while now, it framed Gothams aesthetic perfectly; you could see overhangings and brick walls and gloomy streets and proud but grimy and unkempt buildings through the mist, it was beautiful in a creepy sort of way which fit us nicely.
After enjoying Jasons lips for a moment I kicked him in the stomach and sent him flying, he growled and I saw a barely restrained ghostly wail dripping from his lips, it was a trick he'd learnt from me (he did teach me how to actually hide in shadows without going invisble, so fair trade off). I summoned a green sheild as Jason screamed at me, it cracked my shield but I knew from experience it was too exhausting to do for long enough to break it and then continue to fight after.
I leaped at Jason, fully aware of the feral grin on my face and fully aware that he returned it. He jumped out of the way at the last moment and I landed on all fours, he laughed and I grinned at him, using unnatural speed to be inches away from Jason in a few seconds. I cupped his face and kissed him, biting his lips slightly, he just pushed me back and kissed harder.
I loved our brawls, getting to fight tooth and claw and not haave to worry about hurting him, getting rewards of kisses and hugs. I turned intangible and slipped from his grasp, he spun around and switched to his ghost form (finally) then jumped me, hitting me in the air and sending both of us flying.
Jason pinned me to the ground and I bit his arm (not in a love way), he yelped and jumped back, I grinned with his blood on my teeth and he threw off his mask and growled at me. I ran and jumped up onto the wall, coming out of gravitys reach and floating side ways as he jumped, I dodged at the last moment but he had expected that and so wasn't hurt and simply standing up, he stood on the wall and growled at me with a snarl and green eyes.
I formed a sheild of ice and his serrated claws cut through it in jagged lines, he jumped me again and I dodged a second too slowly, my green blood dripped down my cheek and I covered the skin in a layer of frost so I wouldn't lose any blood "Oh come on! How come fire doesn't do that?!" Jason whined, breaking the illusion that he would ever truely hurt me.
I laughed
"Don't whine Jason." I teased, he hissed at me
"I wasn't whining!" he protested, sitting down to sulk.
"You're sulking now!" I said, he opened his mouth then sighed
"You're impossible you know that?" he asked me
"I've been told." I said and I lay down in Jasons lap, I slid his hood down and played with his pretty white hair, brushing the black strip out of his face. He smiled at me and it looked so kind and wholesome with his mask off.
"Boss! There's an uh... minor issue you better come see." a goon said through Jaons comms, he sighed and tapped his ear which had the comm in it
"This better be important Henry." Jason said
"It is boss!" the goon who I now know is Henry said, I hugged Jason and sat up so I was right next to his ear and tapped it
"Hi Henry!" I said
"Oh! Uh, you're the bosses boyfriend aren't you, I uh, didn't know you were together, I still need boss here but I feel like I have to ask if I'm interrupting something." Henry said akwardly, I giggled and Jason pulled me away from his ear
"You didn't interupt anything." he reassured "I'll be there in a second." and he tapped his comm off
"Henry didn't interupt anything because you were being whiny so we stopped fighting." I complained, Jason pushed me off the ledge and then jumped down himself, we both fell back into gravities grasp.
Jason grabbed his mask and put it on, then pulled up his hood and transformed back to his human form.
"See you!" he said and he disappeared.
