3rd Person POV

It's 12:30 pm in the noon. Magnus was busy signing papers for the new resort that he'll be opening soon in Davao City. All of this was interrupted when there's a loud knock on the door. His brows immediately furrowed in just seconds. He strictly commanded Mr. Williams, his personal butler to not disturb him today because he'll be focusing on his work yet. He stands up and goes directly to the door. He click the door knob and when it opens, he immediately regretted his decision on opening the door.

He turned his back on it and goes back directly at his table and continues on signing the papers.

"Are you just going to ignore me?" his mother broke the silence. Magnus just kept his mouth shut and didn't bothered on giving his mother an attention.

"I specifically visit you here today because I have something to say." his mother still continues on talking. Magnus just pretend that he didn't hears anything. His mother sat on the sofa while crosses her legs elegantly. She takes off her summer hat and her sunglasses then directly looked at Magnus who's not looking at her.

"Did you know that Shania will go back here in the Philippines in just a week?" his mother said. Magnus just remains his silence yet he slowly clenches his fist tightly that even his knuckles is slowly turning to white.

His mother raises her brows after still hearing no response from his son.

"Acting deaf, huh? It's been a week since I visited you here after I came back from Europe yet there's already a major changes from you." his mother commented. Her deep ash eyes stares directly at Magnus who doesn't care about her.

"If you're father is still alive...I wonder what he'll do to you if he knows that you're so hard headed." his mother says. Yet, he still remains his silence. His mother smirk like an evil witch looking at Magnus.

"I wonder how father raised you while I'm staying in Europe." after his mother spatted those words, her eyes immediately directed to Magnus who's now looking at her sharply. They have an eye to eye war between mother and son.

"You don't have the rights to insult grandfather nor says his name coming from your filthy mouth. And, you don't have the rights to call him 'father'." Magnus said coldly while looking at her mother. His stare seems piercing her soul deeply. His mother only gave him a smile but deep inside she wanted to slap the mouth of her own son. She was insulted of the words he says yet she'll remain calm.

"Why? Defending him like your life depended on it. Sounds funny and childish!" his mother said then let out a mocking laugh.

"I'm not asking your opinion." he coldly answered.

"That's not opinion. It's fact!" she answers while smirking evily.

"Well, atleast Grandpa raised me well with full of love and care, and he's the one who stood as my parents. He let me decide on my own, he wants me to do what I love, he allows me to chase my dreams, he gaves me freedom of my life." Magnus said with a low voice while looking at his mother who's deeply staring at him. "Not like you? Who choose what I should do, who choose who should I marry.  I'm not even sure if you're really my mother because in my eyes you're like a bacteria. A bacteria who's willing to spread a virus in my humanity. I wonder how father tolerated that trash attitude of yours." Magnus insulted her directly at her face with no hesitation.

At this rate, he doesn't care if it's his own mother. She draws the line the moment she insulted his dead grandfather infront of his face. She didn't know anything about his life, she didn't know anything of how his grandfather sacrifices his life just to raise him and protect him. She doesn't know everything and anything of it. So, she don't have the rights on insulting his grandfather infront of his face.

After Magnus insulted her, her face turns red like a tomato due to rage, her fist clenched tightly that even her fake nails dig on her hands. She looks at Magnus furiously.

"How dare you insulted me, your mother! You don't know how much sacrifices I made just to gave birth on you yet you're saying trash words on me?" his mother furiously shouted on him and she even stands up. He only gave her an unbelievable look.

"Sacrifices? Did I ever asked to be born?" he talk back to her that made her rage grow more widely.

"Also, if you're really the one who gave birth to me then you should be the one in charge of raising me well. But at this case..." Magnus added coldly.

"Are you questioning me?" She shouted furiously at him.

"Yes. I'm questioning your parenting. Is travelling to other continent while spending grandpa and father's money is your kind of sacrifices? Is attending to fashion show daily is your kind of sacrifices? Is living in other countries for years while leaving your child alone is your kind of sacrifices? Is leaving grandfather who's already old is your kind of sacrifices? Is leaving your own husband behind working day and night so that you can have money to spent when you're going outside the country is your kind of sacrifices? Is that how you make sacrifices and your kind of parenting? Tell me?" Magnus said those words to him coldly while staring at her mother's eyes sharply and dangerously.

Natahimik ang kanyang ina dahil sa sinabi ni Magnus. She can't find words to say yet her face remains fierce and angry.

"Hindi ka makasagot diba? Dahil hindi mo ma-amin amin sa iyong sarili na you're not a good mother in the first place. And now, when you realize all of it–you're trying to be that so called 'Good Mother Who Wants What's Best For Her Child' mother by arranging a marriage for me with my ex girlfriend in college whom I'm not even aware with. See? You definitely don't have any background of how to be a good parent dahil dito palang bagsak at talo ka na kasi halos ang buhay mo ay gala at gastos ng pera." pang i-insulto ni Magnus sa kanyang sariling ina.

"You're getting on my nerves already, young man." madiin nitong pagkasabi pero hindi nasindak si Magnus.

"Kahit sa dugo pa 'yan wala akong pakialam. If you're trying to be a good mother then stop that so called 'Arrange Marriage' but if not then stop pestering me and forget that you have a son." malamig na saad ni Magnus ng walang alinlangan.

"My decision is final. No matter what you say...Arrange Marriage is still an Arrange Marriage." matigas na saad ng ina ni Magnus at tumayo. Kinuha niya ang kanyang sunglasses at summer hat atsaka ito sinuot. The tension is more heavier than before.

"Well, my decision is also final." matigas ring sagot ni Magnus.

"Well then, let's see." his mother said and left his office. Silence reigns all over his office. It's deafening!
