We last read Chapter 50, in which Doc—the Rusted Citadel's disgraced doctor and one of the highest-ranking players of Specter's former rebellion—dies after sacrificing his life to deactivate the Mainframe, indirectly killing Imperator Barrows and Rogue, and saving the Citadel from falling under the dictatorial tyranny of the Iron Kingpin's son, Craig; though his superior King Ryker does try to revive him using Doc's own makeshift defibrillator, his attempts ultimately prove useless, and he and the rest of his court can only lower their heads in mourning after both Sylvester and Marcel separately confirm that Doc has passed on.

Moody a.k.a. Specter then arrives wielding a strange, purple-colored cube in her right hand, which Sylvester reveals is the last remnant of the Mainframe's code. As the Mainframe proceeds to throw an immensely childish temper tantrum from inside the cube, a highly-amused Specter proceeds to finally defeat the Mainframe once and for all by shattering the code cube through the act of closing her fist, allowing the dusty remnants of the cube to blow away on the wind. The chapter then ended with Specter confirming with King Ryker that it's time to start fixing everything, to which he agrees.

This time, Specter, Bonnie, and Dashie tie up some loose ends with their loved ones after the night's chaos successfully passes.....

-Obsidian Sanctum, Rusted Citadel, Asia-

In Specter's quarters within the Sanctum, the spectral superheroine was in the process of hanging up her super suit within her sliding-door closet, and had actually changed to normal clothes for probably the first time in a while since the Shattered Circle investigation began. She still had her light skin, her captivating eyes, and her long and wet red hair, but her clothing now consisted of a fitted white tank top which bore her arms up to their shoulders, a pair of black leggings, and black running shoes.

She was "Moody" once again, and it felt good to finally take a bit of a break from being a heroine after having to work overtime for the past few days and nights.

Just as she finished putting her super suit on a hanger and placing it inside the closet, though, her younger sister Bonnie knocked three times on her door; though Moody couldn't visibly see that it was her due to being on the other side of it, she knew it was Bonnie instantly due to the voice.

"Moody? Can I come in?" Bonnie asked. "Please? There's two people who want to talk to us."

Moody took a couple of steps back from the sliding-door closet and fully closed it, then exhaled and turned towards the door.

"Sure! Come in!" she invited. "You're always welcome here!"

The knob jiggled slightly and the door then opened, revealing none other than Bonnie on the other side, of course. It had been a few hours since the massive battle against the Mainframe and the Shattered Circle's forces, so she had decided to change her outfit as well. Now, although she still had her buttoned-down tropical-patterned, short-sleeved shirt which was open in the front, she had traded away the plain white T-shirt and faded denim jeans for a sleeveless green top and short olive-green shorts, albeit still accompanied by the same pair of white sneakers as before. Lastly, her hair—which she had always, always worn in twin pigtails up until that point—was now completely out, down, and loose.

"Who are you and what have you done with the real Bonnie?" Moody accused jokingly, pretending to feign shock as Bonnie laughed. In reality, though, she'd know her younger sibling anywhere. "I swear, I'm going to call King Ryker on you right now!"
