Chapter 10

~A sound soul dwells within a sound mind and a sound body~

Soul's P.O.V

Soul floated around the darkness. He was used to it though. Whenever he turned into a scythe he went there. He floated around and stopped. He heard something in front of him. It was...a piano? He floated towards it. He saw a door. The strange thing was this was normally the door that lead to the red demon. He opened it eother way. He stepped in. He wore his tuxedo again. Whoever was playing the piano was playing a very adventurous melody. It was a bit angry too. He walked to the sound and saw a red curtain. He pulled it back to see Alice.
She sat at the piano l. Her hair was curled and completely black. Her eyes were closed so she didn't notice him yet. Her fingers were smoking with black smoke from playing the piano. Like how when ever he played the piano when they were in a battle and had to soul resonance with the entire team. She wore a black dress with a thick red belt. The red demon was sitting on the piano grinning evily.
The red demon looked at him a bit surprised he was there. But he grinned evily."So you've come to the performance."
Alice looked up. She saw him and tilted her head. She stood up and walked over to him."You can't trick me."
"What?"he says raising an eyebrow at her.
"Don't try to act like your real. Your the fake Soul."she spun to look at the red demon."What are you trying to trick me to do?"
He puts his hands up in surrender."You caught me. Feel free to destroy the fake."
"Excuse me what?"Soul says. The red demon looks at him and grins evily.
"Stop acting like your the real Soul."she says pointing her blade to his neck."The real Soul is out there. Trapped and I need to save him and Maka. Your just in the way. Fake."
Soul steps back."I am the real Soul."
"Prove it."she snaps narrowing her eyes.
"Remember when we played that video game and we got a tie? Then we had to do the Carolina pepper challenge?" Soul says.
She narrows her eyes. Then after a moment she let's her blades go away. In the room black blood was starting to ooze out of the walls.
"We need to get back." Soul says pointing to the walls. She looks at them quickly. Then nods.
"You can't go. Or you'll lose your battle." the red demon says.
"She'll lose her mind if she stays here." Soul snaps back.
"You'll both lose your mind at some point."the red demon says before Soul pulls Alice out of the room and slamming the door behind them.
"Are we really going to go mad?"she asks a bit worried.
"Not if we keep saving each other."he smiles.
"That's right I need to go save you."she laughs. She smiles at him and kisses his cheek."Thanks for saving me."
"Any time."he blushes slightly but hides it."Hurry up moron you have a battle to fight."
She nods and floats to the light. And disapoears. He sighs and goes after her going back to consciousness.

Maka's P.O.V

Maka struggled to get out. Alice had black blood inside of her. When did she get that? Maka sees that Alice giggles. She stands up straight.
"You can't defeat me."she guggles again and attacks him. She looks acted like she was drunk or something. But her attacks were stronge and graceful. She jumped off walls and slices his back. It wasn't a deep cut but Maka could tell it burned him.
He grunted and tried to slice her. It cut her but it healed up instantly. The black blood that dripped onto the floor turned into spikes and attacked Girito. He dodged it and tried to attck her again. She blocked it and grabbed his shirt by the collar and threw him at a wall. Making him pass out.
She giggles again. She looks around and smiles.
"Mosquito!"Arachne calls. He comes out behind the web. He was short again and Alice laughs."Free take care of the midget for me."she whines.
Free kicks down the door. It was stuck since Alice threw Girito at it. He came out with Eruka by his side.
Maka gasps. She had faced him with Soul. They would've been dead if he wasn't as bad as he was at magic.
Free smirks at Mosquito looking down at him. Eruka picks him up."You really think we're this weak?"
Alice laughs."I think it'll be an wasy victory."
"I will destroy you!"Mosquito yells trying to get down.
"Aww he's so cute. Can we keep him?" Eruka laughs.
"YOU WILL DIE!!"he yells. He gets down to the floor and tries to hit Eruka with his nose to suck her blood. Free blocks it with his bare hands and throws him. The cut healing up.
Maka kept trying to get out. Wake up Alice. She thinks and looks down to Soul. He was slowly waking up. Hurry up and wake up moron.
The earth started to shake. Maka looked back up to see Mosquito bigger."This was my form from a hundred years ago. When I was at my strongest."
"Yeah yeah. That's very nice." Free says.
Alice giggles and flips to Maka and Soul."You two look like your trapped."
"We are!"Maka says a bit frustrated. Moron get us out.
Alice makes a tsk tsk sound."You shouldn't get feisty since your trapped and I'm not."she giggles and holds out her blades at her neck.
"Sorry."she says. She has black blood and its taking her over. She can't think straight.
"That's what I thought."she says and slices the web.
Arachne jumps down besides Alice and kicks her. Making her fly across the room and hit the wall. "You won't be able to get them that easily."
Alice laughs. She gets up and flips back to Arachne and stamds right in front of her."Try to defeat me witch lady."
"I will."she says and attacks her with her fan. It had spikes on the end of it making it a weapon. She goes after Alice you cart wheeled away but not to far.
Maka rips the rest of the web and steps out. She goes to Soul and starts shaking him. "Wake up moron."
Maka looks back at Alice's fight with Arachne. She kept laughing and dodging her attacks. Alice sliced her a couple of times. But she kept laughing. Arachne growls and grabs her arm. Holding her up. Alice looks at her and smirks. But Alice's eyes flicker. They go to blue and back to red quickly. They keep flickering and finally go back to blue.
Soul wakes up."Stop shaking me Maka."he says."Help me get out."
Maka looks back to him and helps him. He turns his arm into a blade and cuts the web. Maka pulls off the remaining web and helps him stand.
"Ready to fight Maka?"he asks looking at all the battles going on around them.
"Definitely."she says and Soul turns into a scythe and they charge into the battle.
