Aelora was unlike her blood.
While her family was driven by hate for each other she stayed on neither side.
She unlike her mother and brothers stayed away from rumours and conspiracies.
She found no enjoyment in being different even if she was.
No matter if her father didn't show through her he was her blood.
Her hair was silver and her eyes were delicate violet.
To those who didn't know that she was born a bastard, they would only see pure Targaryen.

The birds sang next to Aelora's window as she stood still while her handmaiden dressed her.
She looked out the window as she noticed two birds feeding the baby birds in the nest they built together.
"You seem distracted my lady" the handmaiden said.
"Dont I always?" Aelora responded.
The handmaiden smiled "Indeed.
There you are ready my lady.
Shall I leave you know?" she asked.
Aelora turned around.
"You know I will not send you away.
You are the one person who listens in this place" Aelora said.
"It is my job to my lady," she said.
Suddenly Jace burst into the room.
"Brother you must learn to knock," Aelora said slightly aggravated.
"We're going to the red keep.
The king has ordered for the family to be together" Jace said.
"Leave us please," Aelora said to her handmaiden.
Aelora then looked at Jace.
"Why must you burst in here?
I have told you many times that I do not enjoy not knowing if you will burst in or not" she said.
"I am sorry but I am just frustrated.
Mother has insisted we go and I wish to ask if you would try to talk with her.
I do not wish to go back there and Lucerys does not either" Jace said.
Aelora looked at him.
"I will not.
I will not become involved in your conflicts.
If we go it is to see the king before he passes on.
I would think you could act civil for him" she said.
He huffed "And what if this singular visit causes a war?
Do you not wish to prevent that?" Jace asked.
She looked at him "Mother informed me this morning and we will go for a few days.
Now please Jace enough of your complaining.
You are too old to act so childish" she said before walking to her window.
"I heard from Mother that the king wishes to see you married before his life ends.
I hope you can still act like this when you're given to a man that will never care for you" Jace said before leaving her quarters.
She looked over her shoulder before taking a deep breath.
Jace had always been the most rude towards her.
She knew it was because she was never ridiculed like he and Lucerys were.
Most of the realm loved her and they both hated her for that.
Lucerys was better at hiding it which she was thankful for.
She walked to the chair beside the fireplace before sitting so her feet were on the plush cushion as she cuddled into the chair feeling the heat coming off the fireplace.
What her brother said made her nervous.
She was getting too close to full adulthood and she was yet to be wed.
It would make the most sense that the king was the one to notice it.
Her mother left her alone as they were never close and because of that suitors were not invited into the castle to win her heart.
The visit to the red keep made her worried as she only wanted peace.
She wished to escape it all on Dragon back and it was possible that she could be she kept waiting for the breaking point.
