(V) 'You'll find someone very soon.'

In the evening, Yoongi is sitting on the couch. He is scrolling through his phone. He giggles reading a meme. Jimin walks into the living room. Yoongi does not notice Jimin.

Jimin sits next to Yoongi on the couch making him flinch. He stands up and bows apologetically to Jimin.

Jimin says, 'Ah, sit down.'

Yoongi hesitates as he gulps nervously.

Jimin reaches for Yoongi's wrist and pulls him. Yoongi lands on the couch—he is sitting too close to Jimin.

Jimin feels his breaths becoming unsteady. He lets go of Yoongi's hand and moves a little away from him.

Yoongi gulps nervously and says, 'I'm sorry, sir.'

Jimin says, 'Don't call me that.'

Yoongi gulps again.

Jimin continues, 'Just "Jimin". Call me that.'
Yoongi says, 'But-'
Jimin interrupts, 'I'm your friend. You don't have to give me so much respect.'
Yoongi says, 'Then you can call me by my name, too.'
Jimin says, 'I'm gonna call you "Hyung".'

Yoongi nods in response.

Jimin asks, 'Have you ever been in love?'
Yoongi answers, 'Yes...'
Jimin asks, 'Who was she?'
Yoongi answers, 'My neighbour.'
Jimin asks, 'Did you propose to her?'

Yoongi shakes his head in disagreement.

Jimin asks, 'Why?'
Yoongi answers, 'The accident that I mentioned earlier... After that, I couldn't bring myself to propose to her.'
Jimin asks, 'Did you like someone else after that?'
Yoongi answers, 'I did.'

Jimin asks, 'Did you propose to her?'
Yoongi answers, 'Yes.'
Jimin asks, 'What happened then?'
Yoongi answers, 'She rejected my proposal.'
Jimin asks, 'Why would she do that?'
Yoongi answers, 'Because I don't have money.'

Jimin scoffs and says, 'People just need money.'

Yoongi says, 'And you have it.'
Jimin says, 'I don't. My father does.'
Yoongi says, 'His money is yours, too.'
Jimin says, 'I don't want his filthy money. I wanna be independent.'
Yoongi says, 'I understand.'

Jimin says, 'I'm an MS in Finance graduate. I can get a job and live peacefully but he wants me to kill people and sell drugs.'
Yoongi says, 'You don't have to do anything that you're not comfortable doing.'

Jimin nods in response.

Yoongi smiles a little, making Jimin part his lips open.

Jimin says, 'I wanna go out.'
Yoongi says, 'It's not safe for you to go out.'
Jimin says, 'You go out to buy groceries. I wanna go out, too.'
Yoongi says, 'Park Ji-Sung-nim has asked me to keep you safe.'
Jimin says, 'I want ice cream.'

Yoongi's lips part ways in response.

Jimin stands up and continues, 'You're taking me to have an ice cream.'

Without waiting for Yoongi's response, Jimin walks off to his bedroom.

Yoongi sighs and clicks his tongue.

Later at night, Yoongi knocks on Jimin's door. Jimin opens the door and stares at Yoongi.

Yoongi asks, 'What's your favourite flavour?'
Jimin answers, 'I like all flavours.'
Yoongi says, 'Okay.'
Jimin asks, 'Is that it?'
Yoongi answers, 'Yes.'

Jimin slams the door making Yoongi flinch.

Hours pass.

Jimin is in bed sleeping peacefully. He turns to his left slowly and flinches.

He starts to breathe heavily all of a sudden. He gulps anxiously and tosses and turns in bed. Tears roll down his eyes.

He grips the blanket and whimpers. All of a sudden, he opens his eyes and sits upright on the bed.

He breathes heavily and wipes his tears off. He gets up from the bed and walks to the kitchen. He washes his face and starts to search for something.

He checks everywhere including the cupboard. A look of disappointment fills his face.

He walks to Yoongi's room and knocks on the door. Yoongi opens the door within a minute and stands still.

Jimin asks, 'Do we have alcohol here?'
Yoongi answers, 'No...'

Jimin clicks his tongue and says, 'I'm sorry to disturb you at this hour. You should sleep.'

Yoongi asks, 'Will an ice cream help you feel better?'

Jimin stands still without a word in response.

Yoongi says, 'Come with me.' and walks off to the kitchen; Jimin follows him.

Quite soon, Jimin is having a serving of chocolate ice cream. Yoongi is watching him with fond eyes.

Jimin says, 'You should have some, too, Hyung.'
Yoongi says, 'No...'
Jimin asks, 'Why?'
Yoongi answers, 'I'm dieting.'
Jimin asks, 'Seriously? Why though?'
Yoongi answers, 'I work as a bodyguard. I'm supposed to maintain my physique.'

Jimin licks his ice cream as he gazes at Yoongi from top to toe.

Yoongi blushes a little and looks away from Jimin.

Jimin asks, 'Do you like men?'
Yoongi stutters, 'Uh... Ah... Ye-yeah...'
Jimin says, 'You must be bisexual then.'
Yoongi says, 'Yes... I am.'

Jimin takes the last bite of his ice cream cone and chews it in a hurry. He swallows and says, 'You look attractive and you know a lot of things. You're skilled enough, too. You'll find someone very soon.'

Yoongi says, 'Thank you... I hope you'll find someone, too.'

Jimin chuckles softly making Yoongi's eyes soften.

Yoongi asks, 'Do you feel better now?'
Jimin answers, 'Yes, I do...'
Yoongi says, 'I'll make sure to buy a bottle of whiskey.'
Jimin says, 'I like vodka.'
Yoongi says, 'Okay... A bottle of vodka.'

Jimin smiles a little at Yoongi.

Shortly, Yoongi switches the lights off in the kitchen and walks off to his room. Jimin walks into his room and sits on the bed.

Jimin lies on the bed and breathes deeply. He hears knocks on the door.

Jimin sits upright and says, 'Come in.'

Yoongi opens the door and says, 'Make sure to brush your teeth.'

Jimin giggles softly and nods in response.

Yoongi grins and closes the door. Jimin shakes his head with a smile on his lips and gets up from the bed. He walks off to the bathroom.
