EPILOGUE

A few months pass.

On a fine morning.

Jimin is feeding a baby boy while Yoongi and Min-Ji are having their food.

Jimin says, 'It's Saturday today and you are gonna stay with Yoongi Appa.'
Min-Ji asks, 'Where are you going?'
Jimin answers, 'I've some errands to run.'
Min-Ji asks, 'What errands?'
Jimin answers, 'I'm gonna meet someone.'
Yoongi says, 'Min-Ji-ya, have your food.'

Min-Ji hums and resumes having her food.

Jimin says, 'Be a good boy, Park Min-Ho...' and stops feeding the little boy.

Min-Ho says, 'Appa...'
Jimin says, 'Tell me, little one.'
Min-Ho says, 'Wat-ther.'
Yoongi says, 'He wants some water, I guess.'
Jimin says, 'Wait for a minute, little boy. I'm taking it for you.'

Jimin feeds Min-Ho water and continues, 'Impatient. Just like his Appa.'

Yoongi says, 'I can hear you very well.'
Jimin says, 'I know.'
Yoongi says, 'I know that you do.'

Jimin chuckles softly in response.

Shortly, Yoongi lifts Min-Ho and starts to rock him. Jimin plants a kiss on Min-Ho's head and sniffs Min-Ji's cheek.

Yoongi asks, 'What about me?'

Jimin glares playfully at Yoongi and plants a kiss on his cheek.

Yoongi continues, 'Just that?'

Jimin says, 'Min Yoongi.' and raises his eyebrows.

Yoongi says, 'Ah, right. The kids...'

Jimin steps closer to Yoongi and whispers in his ear, 'I'm completely yours, Daddy.'

Yoongi nods once and Jimin says, 'All right, kids. Appa will be back soon.'

Yoongi says, 'Be careful... Yeah?'
Jimin says, 'Of course.'
Min-Ji says, 'Appa is not taking me with him.'
Yoongi says, 'Sweetheart, stay with Yoongi Appa for a while. He'll be back soon.'

Min-Ji hums faintly in response.

Jimin flashes a smile and wraps the shawl around his neck. He grabs the car key from the table and walks off to the door.

Jimin spares a glance at Yoongi and opens the door. He steps out and closes the door. He presses his lips tight and walks to the car. He gets into it and fastens his seatbelt. He starts the engine and begins to drive.

An hour passes.

Jimin walks into a room with a few tables—Mr Park is sitting at one of them wearing the prison uniform. Jimin walks to Mr Park and sits in front of him.

Jimin takes a deep breath and asks, 'How are you doing, sir?'

Mr Park presses his lips tight in response.

Jimin says, 'I'm surprised. I never thought you'd add my name to the visitors list.'
Mr Park says, 'I'm your father. I know you enough.'

Jimin chuckles bitterly and says, 'Yet, you failed to understand me.'

Mr Park spots the ring on Jimin's left ring finger and says, 'I see that you have a family.'

Jimin says, 'I do. I have two kids now.'
Mr Park says, 'I'm a grandfather now.'
Jimin says, 'If you still want to be my father, yes.'
Mr Park asks, 'What do you mean?'
Jimin answers, 'You do know what I mean.'

Mr Park frowns in response.

Jimin stares into Mr Park's eyes.

Mr Park says, 'I just wanted the same from you. Have a wife... Kids... A family. You didn't have to throw me behind the bars to do what I wanted you to do.'
Jimin says, 'Min Yoongi is my husband.'
Mr Park asks, 'What?'
Jimin answers, 'I don't have a wife. I have a husband.'

Mr Park presses his lips tight and stares at Jimin.

Jimin says, 'I just wanted to let you know that I'm happy with my life decisions and I don't regret choosing my husband to be mine forever.'
Mr Park says, 'That arsehole is manly. I don't understand how he can fuck you.'
Jimin says, 'I love my husband and he loves me back.'

Mr Park scoffs in response.

Jimin leans forward and continues, 'I loathe you for everything that you've done to me and my husband.'

Mr Park says, 'I should have shot him in the head.'
Jimin says, 'You could do more than that and you would. I'm thankful I turned to the police for help.'
Mr Park says, 'Bloody cowards.'

Jimin chuckles dryly and says, 'Thank you, sir, for being the reason for my birth. Thank you for finding Min Yoongi. I'll be forever thankful.'

Mr Park clenches his jaw and stares at Jimin.

Jimin says, 'Farewell, sir.' and stands up. He walks off towards the entrance of the room and steps out.

Mr Park clenches his jaw as Jimin's figure disappears.

Jimin walks to his car and gets into it. He fastens his seatbelt and starts the engine. He traces his ring and smiles a little. He licks his dry lips and begins to drive.
