(VII) 'Baby... I can't...'

At night, a man in his 30s walks to Yoongi. The latter raises his chin and nods once. He walks off with a nervous look on his face.

Yoongi walks downstairs and takes a left turn. He looks around anxiously as he reaches Jimin's room.

Yoongi opens the door without noise and steps in. He closes the door and locks it. He rushes to the wardrobe and opens it—he begins to pack a backpack.

Quite soon, Yoongi walks to the door with a backpack and unlocks the door. He slowly opens the door and peeks outside—there is no one around.

Yoongi steps out of the room and closes the door. He walks off with the backpack.

The next day.

Mr Park is sitting in the rear seat of a car. Hoseok is sitting in the driver's seat and Hyun-Jin in the passenger seat—all of them are wearing their seatbelts. Hoseok starts the engine and begins to drive.

Yoongi is watching the car through a window. He rushes to the chamber and unlocks it by pressing a few numbers. He opens the door and walks in.

Jimin is curled up on the floor with his eyes closed—he looks pale.

Yoongi hurries to Jimin and says, 'Honey... Wake up.'

Jimin flinches and opens his eyes. He slowly sits upright on the floor.

Yoongi continues, 'Let's go.' and makes Jimin stand up.

Yoongi takes Jimin out of the chamber and walks downstairs. They walk towards the entrance.

Two guards stop Yoongi and one of them asks, 'Where are you going?'

Yoongi answers, 'Jimin-nim wants to go out.'
He says, 'Park Ji-Sung-nim has asked us not to let him out.'
Yoongi says, 'Jimin-nim is our boss, too. We have to obey his orders.'
He says, 'We can't let him step out. It's Ji-Sung-nim's order.'

Yoongi holds Jimin's forearm tightly and kicks the guard's crotch.

The guard falls to the ground as he groans in pain.

The other guard tries to punch Yoongi but the latter dodges it and kicks the back of his knee. The former falls to the floor.

Yoongi begins to run with Jimin.

Jimin says, 'Baby... I can't...'
Yoongi exclaims, 'Run, Park Jimin!'

Jimin manages to run with Yoongi. The latter stops next to a car and makes Jimin sit in it.

Jimin gasps for breath and loses consciousness.

A couple of guards start to shoot aiming at Yoongi.

Yoongi quickly gets into the car and starts the engine. He drives off in a hurry.

A couple of bullets pierce the car's boot.

Yoongi manages to turn the steering wheel to the left and right trying to distract the guards. He manages to take a couple of turns and drives off.

Quite soon, Yoongi pulls over next to a huge building and looks at Jimin. He pats Jimin's thigh and says, 'Honey...'

Jimin opens his eyes and Yoongi makes him sip on a bottle of water.

Soon, Yoongi and Jimin get out of the car with two backpacks—they are wearing different clothes. Yoongi nods once at Jimin. They begin to walk.

Yoongi stops a taxi and gets into it with Jimin.

Yoongi says, 'The airport.'

The taxi driver begins to drive.

Jimin asks, 'What about our phones?'
Yoongi answers, 'I discarded both of our phones. I've bought new phones and a new SIM card. Nobody knows the number.'
Jimin says, 'I should get a new SIM card.'
Yoongi says, 'We gotta leave for Japan. The flight takes off within half an hour.'

Jimin says in a questioning tone, 'You bought the tickets already?'

Yoongi hums in response.

Jimin nods once and sighs heavily.

The guards find the car Yoongi and Jimin abandoned. One of the guards makes a call to someone.

Shortly, Yoongi and Jimin reach the airport. They get out of the taxi and Yoongi pays the taxi fare.

Yoongi and Jimin walk to an ATM. Jimin withdraws money and discards the debit card.

Soon, Yoongi and Jimin are sitting on a plane. Jimin holds Yoongi's hand and closes his eyes.

Mr Park is talking to a man in a black suit.

Hyun-Jin steps closer and bows to Mr Park as he says, 'Excuse me, Ji-Sung-nim...'

Mr Park says, 'Just a minute, sir.' and glares at Hyun-Jin.

Hyun-Jin leans closer to Mr Park and whispers, 'Jimin-nim ran away from the mansion with Min Yoongi.'

Mr Park asks in disbelief, 'What?'

Hyun-Jin bows in response.

Mr Park clenches his jaw.

A couple of hours pass.

Jimin is sitting on one of the chairs—he is wearing a mask.

Yoongi walks to Jimin and says, 'I got the money exchanged.'—the former is wearing a mask as well.

Jimin stands up and says, 'Let's apply for the visa.'

Yoongi says, 'It's not safe here. Ji-Sung-nim has connections in Japan.'
Jimin says, 'He has connections all over the world.'
Yoongi says, 'We're gonna make this happen.'

Jimin nods several times in response.

Yoongi grabs the backpack from the chair and holds Jimin's hand. They begin to walk.
