(XIII) 'Please take me somewhere.'

Yoongi and Jimin are sitting on the bed hugging each other tightly. Yoongi plants a soft kiss on Jimin's head.

Jimin lets go of Yoongi and sniffles. He leans on Yoongi's left shoulder.

Yoongi asks, 'Are you okay?'

Jimin does not respond.

Yoongi hums in a questioning tone.

Jimin asks, 'Is it my fault that I wanna have a peaceful life?'
Yoongi answers, 'No.'
Jimin asks, 'Why can't he just let me live peacefully?'
Yoongi answers, 'Because he's not a peaceful person himself.'

Jimin asks, 'Is it my mistake?'
Yoongi answers, 'No, it's not.'
Jimin says, 'He's right. I'm useless.'
Yoongi says, 'Don't say that, honey. I love you for who you are and you're clearly not useless.'

Jimin sniffles in response.

Yoongi says, 'I'm with you in this. I'll be with you in everything. We'll face everything together.'
Jimin says, 'I wish my father shot me.'
Yoongi asks, 'What about me then?'

Jimin grips Yoongi's suit jacket and answers, 'I don't know what the fuck I'm blabbering.'

Yoongi says, 'It's okay... I understand.'
Jimin says, 'I wanna breathe freedom, baby.'
Yoongi says, 'I can understand, honey. I wish I could take you somewhere else.'
Jimin says, 'I want that, too.'
Yoongi says, 'I know.'
Jimin asks, 'Can you take me somewhere?'

Yoongi moves his lips; he utters inaudible words.

Jimin continues, 'At least for a few hours? Please?'
Yoongi answers, 'I seriously wish I could.'
Jimin says, 'You can.'
Yoongi asks, 'How?'
Jimin answers, 'You seriously can, baby.'

Yoongi says, 'Tell me how.'
Jimin says, 'I don't know.'
Yoongi asks, 'What?'
Jimin answers, 'I desperately want you to and I have no idea how.'
Yoongi says, 'I'm sure that you can't step out of the mansion without your father's permission.'

Jimin chuckles bitterly and asks, 'It sounds funny, doesn't it?'

Yoongi does not respond.

Jimin says, 'Unless he lets me out, I can't go anywhere. I'm a fucking 30-year-old man and still, I can't step out of the mansion if I want to.'
Yoongi says, 'I can talk to him if you want me to.'

Jimin asks, 'Would you do that for me?'
Yoongi answers, 'I'd do anything for you.'
Jimin says, 'Please take me somewhere.'
Yoongi says, 'But we gotta come back by tonight.'
Jimin asks, 'Why?'

Yoongi asks, 'You don't have anywhere to stay over, do you?'
Jimin answers, 'I can say that I stayed at a hotel room.'
Yoongi asks, 'Won't he ask you more?'
Jimin asks, 'Can we come back home late?'

Yoongi hums in response.

Jimin looks at Yoongi and says, 'Let's go then.'

Yoongi gazes into Jimin's eyes and says, 'I'll go talk to your father first.'

Jimin hums faintly in response.

Yoongi holds Jimin's nape and plants a soft kiss on his forehead. He lets go of Jimin and stands up. He adjusts his suit jacket and walks to the door.

Yoongi spares a glance at Jimin and unlocks the door. He opens it and walks out of the room.

Yoongi inhales shakily and walks downstairs. Jimin follows Yoongi and pats his left shoulder. Yoongi stops and turns around.

Jimin flashes an assuring smile and says, 'I'll talk to him.'

Yoongi says, 'I can talk to him.'
Jimin says, 'You're just a bodyguard in his eyes. You'll be in trouble if you try to talk to him.'
Yoongi says, 'But you wanted me to talk to him.'
Jimin says, 'I changed my mind.'

Yoongi chuckles softly and says, 'That was quick.'

Jimin presses his lips tight, suppressing his shy smile.

Yoongi gestures asking Jimin to walk in front of him as he says, 'After you, Jimin-nim.'

Jimin shakes his head a little with a small smile on his lips and begins to walk. Yoongi follows Jimin.

Quite soon, Jimin is standing in front of Mr Park. Yoongi is standing behind Jimin on his right.

Jimin says, 'Father, I wanna go out.'
Mr Park asks, 'Where are you gonna go?'
Jimin answers, 'Just...'

Yoongi bows to Mr Park and says, 'He just wants to get some fresh air, Ji-Sung-nim.'

Mr Park says, 'Sure, but you gotta take Min Yoongi with you.'
Jimin says, 'Yes, Father.'
Mr Park says, 'Go ahead.'

Yoongi bows to Mr Park and says, 'Thank you, Ji-Sung-nim.'

Jimin walks out of the room and Yoongi follows him.

Shortly, Yoongi and Jimin are sitting in the car. The latter is gazing at Yoongi.

Yoongi says, 'We can go for a movie.'
Jimin says, 'I have never watched a movie in a theatre.'
Yoongi asks, 'Are you serious?'
Jimin answers, 'I don't like to joke.'
Yoongi says, 'That's okay. I'll be the first one to take you to a movie theatre, honey.'

Jimin giggles softly in response.

Yoongi asks, 'What genre do you wanna see?'
Jimin answers, 'Romance...'
Yoongi says, 'All right. Let's get it.'

Jimin smiles a little in response.

Soon, Yoongi and Jimin are sitting in a movie theatre. Yoongi offers Jimin a box of popcorn. Jimin joins Yoongi to munch on the popcorn.

Yoongi whispers, 'Do you like it here?'
Jimin whispers, 'Yes...'

Yoongi smiles a little and Jimin leans onto Yoongi's right shoulder.

Almost two hours pass.

Yoongi and Jimin are sitting in the car with a shy look on their faces.

Yoongi says, 'The movie was quite good.'
Jimin says, 'It was fun.'
Yoongi says, 'Yeah...'
Jimin says, 'It felt nice because you were with me.'

Yoongi flashes a smile and starts the engine as he asks, 'Where do you wanna go next?'

Jimin answers, 'I'm hungry. I want some good food.'
Yoongi says, 'Let's go to a restaurant.'
Jimin says, 'And I'll pay.'
Yoongi says, 'I can pay.'
Jimin says, 'You paid for the movie tickets. I'll pay for the food. Yeah?'

Yoongi hums in response.

Jimin grins at Yoongi.

Yoongi starts to drive with a small smile on his lips.
