CHAPTER 16

DAVENPORT RESIDENCE

Adam, Bree, Chase, Marcus, Leo, Tasha, and Donald sat around the living room and kitchen filling Tasha in on the events of the day. She had her arms around Leo hugging him closely.

"So let me get this straight you have a younger crazy brother and he's Adam, Bree and Chase's real father" Tasha raised an eyebrow.

"Biological father, Mr Davenport is our real dad" Chase corrected her.

"Right...and he's Marcus's father too?" Tasha looked at Donald who nodded.

"I adopted Adam, Bree, and Chase when I thought Douglas died. Had I known Marcus lived I would have taken him as well" Donald looked at his nephew. 

"UGH HE HAS TO STAY HERE TOO" Eddy whined from the tablet on the wall.

"SHUT UP EDDY!" Everyone screamed at the AI

"You don't ever get to talk about my mother again" Tasha pointed a finger at Donald causing everyone to start laughing.

"So Douglas had four children and three turned out to be boys? Would it have killed him to make another girl" Bree scoffed.

"To be fair Chase and Marcus were more of a buy one get one free deal" Donald informed them. The twins glanced at one another both sharing a look of fondness.

"I'm just glad there's no need for any more secrets" Leo let out an exhausted sigh falling back into his mother's arms.

"I've had enough excitement for one day my capsule is calling my name" Bree yawned.

"You said it" Adam stretched. Tasha walked over to her kids kissing Adam, Bree, and Chase on their cheeks before letting them head to the lab. 

"You sweetie can take the couch for now until we find a more permanent solution" Tasha picked up some blankets and a pillow handing it to Marcus

"Thank you Mrs Davenport" Marcus smiled at her.

"Just call me Tasha hun" She pinched his cheek.

"Marcus try to limit using your bionics until I make you a capsule you're more likely to glitch if your bionics aren't calibrated" Donald explained.

"Thanks, Uncle but I don't glitch, my dad made me too well" Marcus bragged.

"Don't get smug even if you have some cybernetics you're still human and Bionic chips have an odd relationship with the human nervous system" Donald reminded his nephew before walking off. Tasha followed her husband upstairs after rubbing Leo's cheek one last time.

"And us? What happens there?" Marcus asked Leo.

"You're sticking around?" Leo raised an eyebrow. Marcus contemplated for a moment. 

"Yeah, I'm going to be looking for my dad as long as he's still out there none of us are safe but yeah I'll be around" Marcus declared.

"Good, come up to my room" Leo pulled Marcus' wrist upstairs. Marcus was stunned by Leo's boldness but he allowed himself to be dragged upstairs. Once they entered Leo's room the two laid on Leo's bed. The two sat in silence for a moment enjoying each other's company.

"That was a crazy day" Leo started.

"Yeah....now you know everything" Marcus grumbled.

"So we're cousins?" Leo wondered.

"Don't" Marcus groaned in disgust, and Leo chuckled at this. Suddenly he was struck in the face with a pillow.

"HEY!" Leo grabbed another pillow off his head striking Marcus even harder.
