Sterling
I put on black baggy jeans with a black and silver belt, an off the shoulder, cropped, baggy graphic t-shirt and some makeup throwing black converses to tie it all together.

It was time to load up back stage and i took my video camera filming odd things of the band here and there and also taking photos when they were willing to pose and during their practice run on stage.

Then the hours rolled by and the room started filling with crazed fans. The opener went out which means we have an hour. I walked around a corner to Nate shaking his whole body like a wet dog in a sense.

"Nervous?" i asked with a slight laugh.

"Nope never" he lied with a small smile.

"You'll do fine don't stress it" i reassured him.

"Have you ever been to one of our shows?" he asked.

I didn't want to answer, but i decided to. "Yeah, my friends highly obsessed with you guys" i spoke reluctantly.

"Oh so just your friend not you?" he teased me with a smirk.

"Bingo" i joked back pointing my nose as i said it.

"Well we'll have to do better to impress miss Belmore over here" he laughed, and for a second i saw what a genuine smile looked like from him.
It was a good smile. Quit it Sterling. It's work.

"Where's everyone else?" i asked curiously.

"I'm honestly not sure, West and Joel ditched me here" he shrugged and i nodded.

"Well good luck, i'll be watching and judging so don't mess up" i joked and his smile cracked through.

"I'll do my best for you then" he smiled. Joking of course, but still I'll take it.

The hour flew by and i made my way out to get pictures in between the stage and barricade. The fans got annoyed with me being in between, although i know they could see perfectly well. Nate's eye contact with me..well the camera was crazy. I assume it was for the pictures, so i refuse to continue to dissect it.
They ran through the set list and i'll admit it was hard not to sing along, but i didn't want any of them to see me sing along and realize i really did know their music even if it was just because of Maeve.

The concert ended and i headed backstage with them.

"Good job you guys did great" i spoke and Nate turned back and gave me a half way smile.

"Thanks hope you did too" he remarked with a laugh. It was in a joking way though, he was being an ass and his friends laughed right along.

Emma looked back and gave me an i'm so sorry look. I brushed it off, but it did hurt. I was already regretting my decision to be here.

As we walked back to the tour bus i decided not to start any conversation with anyone here. I'll just be the damn photographer and be as invisible as possible. I immediately headed to my room and snacked on a granola bar instead of eating with them. I didn't have much of an appetite anyways honestly. I heard a knock and i didn't want to be rude and ignore it so i got up and opened it to see West.

"Hey could i get a sneak peak of those pics?" he asked.

"Sure" i said pulling out my camera and went through a few of them with him.

"Those are sick, you've got mad skills Sterling" he gleamed looking through them.

"Thanks" i responded keeping it as short as possible.

He didn't really seem to care i was short, i was here for a job and it was silly of me to think i'd make friends along the way. He gave me a fist pump before leaving the room. I turned my light off and went to bed.

The next venue in LA creeped up quickly and just like that we were on again. I was upfront taking pictures. I brought an older camera and my go to newer camera and snapped shots with both of them. After we finished i said nothing.

The guys walked far ahead of me except i didn't see Nate anywhere, but i wasn't going to search for him. I made it a few feet away from the door which everyone else was already out before Nate stopped me.

"Yo Belmore you good?" he asked looking at me with concern written all over his face. First time i could actually read him.

"I'm great, got some cool pics" i spoke dryly.

"Thanks great" he spoke as his voice trailed off before adding "you sure you're okay?"

"Yeah i'm great" i furrowed my eyebrows. I wasn't gonna pick a fight with a guy i barely know. It's not worth it, he's not worth it. He's just some egotistical celebrity who thinks everyone should obey him.

"Well if you ever need to talk i'm" he spoke and i cut him off simply by opening the door where everyone else was and he stopped. Exactly what i thought. I looked at him and then looked out at everyone else and scoffed at how right my theory was, he didn't want to be associated with the worker. I walked to my room and he didn't let out another word to me.
