The whole palace of Nadesar in Varanasi was decorated like a bride for the wedding ceremony of Mehrotra's youngest heir, Ridhaan Mehrotra with his lady love, Roohi. The city was buzzing in excitement as it would soon witness such a grand wedding for the first time. The hotels were filled with Mehrotra's guests, with media already swarming the city for capturing the grandeur and magnanimous event.
The event planners crashed the palace 10 days before with Mehrotra's arriving with glammer and glitzz just five days after. They spent two days in having fun, roaming around the city giving a chance for the media to capture the five couples and their kids while they were exploring. The guests arrived only a night before, and the Mehrotra's even had planned a welcome dinner for all the guests.
Only two days were left for the wedding, and the ceremonies were beginning today. It was RooHan's Haldi Ceremony, hence the commotion was all over the palace. The whole palace garden was dolled up for the ceremony with a shamiaana made with yellow cloth, marigold flowers and flower strings. A huge boufet arrangement was done filled with different types of food – chaat, street food, candies, cocktails, mocktails, gola, ice cream, popcorn, and a lot more. Arrangements were made for people to sit, chit-chat and relax, a huge dance floor was open with dholwaala's and a DJ. Everybody could see the efforts put in by the planners and the family to make this day special for the bride and groom.
