"Hello."

"Liam! I need your help, mate. I got a job at The Dome but I lied to the owner and said that I know how to roller skate!" Louis stressed over the phone, calling his best friend.

Liam burst out laughing.
"Not cool." Louis whined.

"I'm sorry but that's hilarious. Congratulations on the new job at least. How much time do we have to practice before you start your new job?" Liam asked.

"Ehm, tomorrow." Louis replied sheepishly.

"Tomorrow? Louis! I'm not even that good at it. Luckily I have the day off from work so at least we can practice all day. I'll show up at eight." Liam said.

"Thanks! You're the best!" Louis beamed.

The next day he got up early and was impatiently waiting for Liam to arrive.

As soon as he knocked on the door Louis grabbed his rollerskates and opened the door. He pushed Liam backward.
"Come on!"

"Well, hello to you too." Liam smirked.

"No time to spare." Louis stressed.

"Alright, put them on then. I'll get mine." Liam smiled and walked over to his car and opened the back door.

He grabbed his rollerskates and took a seat and put them on. When he was done Louis was finished.
"Ready?" Liam asked.

"I need your help." Louis answered.

"You can't even stand on them. Oh, man. We have a lot of work to do." Liam chuckled but made his way over and grabbed Louis by the waist and helped him to get to the road.

He kept his arm around him while he gave him instructions. They slowly made their way down the road in the opposite direction than the one Louis had taken yesterday.

They practiced for hours. As long as Liam held on to him he was fine but as soon as he let go, Louis fell to the ground. After scraping his face against the asphalt Liam called it quits. He helped him inside the house and cleaned the wound for him.
"Great. Now I'll look like ground meat on me first day at work." Louis muttered.

"It's shallow and small. No one will notice." Liam said.

"I really fucking hope so." Louis muttered.

They spent the rest of the day playing Nintendo before Liam headed home. Louis went to bed early, excited for his first day at his first job.

He had forgotten to set the alarm and his mum woke him up. When he realized that he had to be at work in fifteen minutes he sprinted out of bed and threw on the outfit he thankfully had selected the day before. He brushed his teeth and said goodbye to his mum who wished him good luck on his first day. He took the car to The Dome and ran inside and bumped into Harry.
"I'm here!" He announced and tried to catch his breath.

"Welcome." Harry smiled.

They walked around and Harry showed him everything. A guy named Niall was working the DJ booth and Louis greeted him. He looked cool with a mustache and a mullet and a purple tracksuit.
"Did you bring your own rollerskates?" Harry asked.

"Shoot! I left them at home. I'm so sorry." Louis said and felt worthless.

"It's fine. Let's see if we can find a pair in your size." Harry smiled.

They walked over to the section with rental rollerskates and Louis found a pair in his size. He gulped nervously.
"You don't need them just yet. We don't open until ten. Let's fill in some papers." Harry said.

He followed him to his office and signed a contract and Harry told him everything he needed to know about the place and what was expected of him. Louis just hoped that he would make it through the day.
"I'm sorry, but you smell like an Alpha and it's not that horrible masking spray. Are you mated?" Harry asked and furrowed his eyebrows.

Louis giggled. That was crazy.
"No! Oh, it has to be me best mate Liam's scent. I'm so used to his scent that I don't even notice. We've been best friends since kindergarten."

"Alright. Uhm, how about that wound on your cheek?" Harry asked. He looked concerned.

"I fell on me face. Don't worry about it." Louis said lightly.

"Right." Harry replied. He still looked concerned.
