A/N: Sorry I didn't upload this this morning, I forgot, haha.

It was six in the morning. Chirs finished putting any last minute items in his suitcase and was ready to go. He looked over at McKayla, who was still asleep. This was normal, as it was still very early in the morning; but McKayla had now been sleeping a lot more than usual - up to 14 to 16 hours a day. Chris was so worried about her. It killed him that he had to leave her.

Chris goes over to the side of the bed. He leans down and gently kisses his wife's forehead.

"I love you." He whispers.

"I love you too." McKayla mumbles in return, without opening her eyes.

Chris smiles and kisses her hand, "I'll be back on the 22nd. Get some rest."

Chris stands back to his full height. He grabs his things and gives McKayla one last glance. Then, he turns and goes to walk out of the bedroom.

"Chris?"

Chris stops, then turns back around to face McKayla who was now sitting up in bed.

"Are you as terrified as I am?"

Chris sighs, then walks back over to the bed. He puts his hands on either side of McKayla's face and kisses her. When they come apart, he looks into her emerald eyes.

"Of course I am." He says, "But whatever happens, we're gonna get through it together, okay?" Chris asks before kissing McKayla once again' for longer this time.

When they come apart, Chris rests his forehead on hers, "I love you."

"I love you too. Have a good tour and take lots of pictures of HIM for me."

Chris chuckles, "I will. Call me as soon as you know your results."

"I will."

Chris kisses her cheek, then stands. He had to leave. McKayla sighs, then lays back down and closes her eyes. She didn't want to watch Chris leave. Eventually, she fell back asleep.

Four hours later.

McKayla opened her eyes and her stomach immediately churned. McKayla sits up and runs out of bed. She goes to the bathroom, gets on her knees, and once again begins to vomit into the toilet. Shen she finished, she flushed the toilet and began to cry.

This entire thing was just so frustrating! McKayla hated all of this. She hated what this was turning into. She hated that she had to go thorugh this for another four days before she could find out what was wrong with her.

McKayla stands and goes back into the bedroom. she goes to the closet and grabs the black hooded jacket that Chris had given her in high school. She missed him so much already.

There's a knock on the front door. McKayla walks downstairs and walks to the door. She opens it to reveal Sophie.

"Hi, sweetheart. You doing okay?" Sophie asks.

Instead of responding, McKayla just starts crying. Sophie steps inside and shuts the door behind her before bringing her daughter into her arms. McKayla continues crying. Hard.

"It's so much worse this time, Mom." McKayla sobs, "I don't wanna die!"

"Ssshhh...Don't talk like that, honey. It's gonna be okay."

"I don't wanna die..."

Four days later.

McKayla looked at herself in the mirror. She had on her braclet and her rings - of course - the jacket Chris gave her, a Mötley Crüe shirt, jeans, and converse. She was also wearing her wig since her hair was still in an awkward looking faze. She put hte wig in a ponytail, then grabbed everything else she needed. She then walked downstairs wheere Sophie was waiting.

"Woah. Talk about blast from the past." Sophie says, referring to McKayla's attire.

McKayla gives a small laugh, "I know. I don't know why but I just sort of...felt like it, you know?"

Sophie nods, "Do you have everything?"

McKayla nods, "Let's go."

"So why don't you tell me everything that's been doing on?" McKayla's doctor says.

"A lot has been going on. I've had headaches almost every day, I get extremely tired and I'm sleeping a lot more than usual; I'm vomiting a lot, and lately I've been getting these horrible abdominal cramps. They feel like the worst period cramps in the history of bad period cramps. I'm not menstruating and I don't think I should be; I'm not sure. Truth be told, my period has been really irregular thanks to chemo so it's kind of hard to keep track of it."

"I see. Well, let's go into the other room and run some tests and do some blood work. If all goes well, we should be able to call you tomorrow with the results."
