Fatal: Part 3 (The Grand Finale)

Chapter 12

This tour was actually very good. MIW got a pretty good response from the audience and their fans seemed to be enjoying the album. The fans really liked hearing new songs from the album performed live. It made the band feel good and confident that the album would continue to do well. The fans also really liked the new music video for 'Reincarnate' and everything just seemed to be oing good.

Chris had heard from McKayla since the vandilism and she said she was doing a bit beter. The person that had vandilized the grave didn't come back. Hopefully, they wouldn't.

In other news, McKayla had an MRI next week on literally the worst date possible. October 17th. I was the only date she could get in. McKayla actually hadn't been feeling very well lately; so with an MRI coming up, everyone was worried about her. Chris just hoped the reason she wasn't feeling well was out of stress and not somethihg more serious.

Thinking about the entire situation made Chris stressed. He hated hearing about all of the things going on. He hoped whoever vandalized the grave would just keep their distance. What they did was disgusting and it enraged Chris; and it certainly showed on stage. He was also incredibly worried about McKayla's MRI as he always was.

The North Carolina show was great. The audience sang loud and responded well to every band that played. Now, the bands were doing their signings and those were gong quite well too.

A guy in about his mid-to-late-twenties reaches Chris at the signing. Chris smiles.

"Sup man. Who am I making this out to?" Chris asks.

"The guy you're looking for."

Chris raises an eyebrow, "Uh..."

"Matthew McClain was a murderer."

Chris' eyes darken, "You." He states, "You vandalized the grave?"

"My name is Nathan. My brother was killed in the shooting that day. You might remember my friend, Jamie. Tried to put McKayla in her place, but failled...now it's my turn."

"Bring it on, bitch." Chris says beofre punching Nathan in the face.

"What the Hell?!" Josh exclaims.

"This is the guy that fucked up Matthew's grave!" Chris shouts in response.

At hearing this, a bunch of other kids that were fans of MIW that knew about the vandilism pounced at Nathan. The whole thing turned into a huge brawl and security had to break it up.

"What's gong on here?!" One of the guards asks.

"Those kids are fine, leave them be." Chris says, "As for him, he started this whole thing." Chris says, pointing to Nathan.

"Take him away and call the cops. He needs to be arrested for vandalism, disturbing the peace, and for fucking with my family."

Chris walks back onto the bus and everyone looks to him.

"Well?" Ricky asks.

"They took him away. For now, at least. The lawyers are gonna start talking and we're hopefully gonna get a trial to get him put away for good. He's just as responsible for what happened to Kayla in high school as Jamie is." Chris says, "I've gotta go call her."

"Oh my God!" McKayla says when Chirs tells her what happened.

"I just got done talking to the cops. They're gonna take him away but he might be granted a trial."

"Well at least if there's a trial, ther's a chance that you and I will get to speak out against Nathan and get him put away for good."

"Yeah, exactly." Chris says, "So...your MRI is coming up."

"Yeah..."

Thee's a pause as they think about this.

"I love you." Chris finally says.

"I love you too."

"Promise me you'll call me as soon as you find out the results."

"I will. Don't punch any more people, okay?"

"I'l try."

"Be safe."

"You too, beautiful. Do you have a long day at work tomorrow?"

"Yeah, but I love it there a lot."

"Good. I'm happy you're happy."

"I am happy...But I'd be happier if you were here."

"I will be soon, baby. I've gotta get going, but call me when you can."

"I love you."

"I love you too."

A/N: Do you guys remember Nathan? If not, maybe re-read the second half of Part 1 or something. The first chapter with Jamie explains it.

So, do you guys think Nathan will be granted a trial? It's all so conflicting, isn't it? We want to hate Nathan, but Matthew killed his brother. Then again, that doesn't give Nathan the right to do what he did. It's all very psychological and weird and I did that on purpose 'cause I'm a genius :)

ALSO. I've been thinking of new story ideas and I want your opinions. It wouldn't be for a while, but what would you guys think if somewhere down the line I did a sequel to "The Immaculate Misconception"? It would take place in between the final chapter and Epilogue of TIM. Let me know what you think.
