Fatal: Part 3 (The Grand Finale)

Chapter 24

Motionless in White's fans were incredibly excited to hear that McKayla was pregnant. Some were a little overly excited, but all in all, the fan reaction was good. The fans were also extremely excited for the Beyond the Barricade tour, which was rapidly approaching.

McKayla was still feeling a little sluggish because of the pregnancy, but she'd only gotten really sick one or two other times. Now, she was under a comforter on the couch watching South Park.

Chris bursts through the front door smiling, "Look what I found!"

McKayla jumps, "Jesus, you almost scared the baby out of me."

"I have found one of the most amazingest things on the entire fucking planet."

"Chris, all I told you to do was get me snacks."

"And I delivered!"

"Oh, God. Okay, I'll play along. What did you get?"

"Red velvet Oreos with cream cheese filling."

McKayla's eyes widen, "Oh my God."

Chris nods. He brings the box to McKayla and they dig into it.

"You know there's such a thing as fried chicken flavored Oreos? And buffalo wings too. We should find those." Chris says. (A/N: Yes, these Oreo flavors really do exist.)

"That sounds disgusting."

"It sounds amazing!"

"You're ridiculous."

"Thank you." Chris says, "You feeling any better?"

"I am now that my hubby brought me treats."

"You're welcome."

McKayla points to her belly, "You see what you're doing to me?" She asks, "I always have headaches and all I want are Oreos and chocolate cake. And you won't let me do yoga without getting dizzy!"

"You'll live, darling."

"Can you believe that in only, like, eight to ten weeks, we'll know if our baby is a boy or a girl?"

"You have to call me as soon as you find out."

"I will." McKayla says before laying her head on Chris' shoulder.

"What are you thinking about?" Chris asks.

"Just...how much our lives have changed over the years."

"Yeah..." Chris says before kissing the top of her head, "I love you."

"I love you too."

McKayla got sick less and less, and was eventually able to go back to work full time. Valentine's Day was special because it was Chris and McKayla's first Valentine's Day as a married couple. Today, however, was February 20th, and it was the first night of the Beyond the Barricade tour. The band had shows in Pennsylvania tonight and tomorrow, both of which McKayla would be attending. Then on March 28th, the band would be in New York and then they'd be in Philly on the 29th. It was also scheduled that McKayla would find out the gender of the baby on March 1st.

McKayla went with Chris to rehearsals. She spent most of the time chatting with the girlfriends of the other band members and the merch people. She was greeted and congratulated on the pregnancy by everyone in the other bands as well.

As more fans arrived, McKayla and the rest of the girlfriends made their way backstage and hung out there until all of the VIP stuff was over. Some of the fans approached them as well, asking for pictures or something. They also asked McKayla a lot about the pregnancy and how she was doing.

The show started a while later and it was amazing. It was obvious that this was going to be one of Motionless in White's best tours ever. Everyone could tell. The fans were amazing, the set was perfect; it was incredible. McKayla was happy to see Chris so happy. She could tell that this was going to be a great experience for him.

The show ended about an hour ago and everyone was finishing packing up everything. Chris walks up to McKayla, smiling. He quickly kisses her, then hugs her.

"You did so great." McKayla says, "I love you."

"I love you too."

McKayla rests her head on Chris' chest and sighs.

"You tired?"

"Yeah." McKayla admits.

"Why don't you go home and rest?"

"Because then I have to leave you and I want to spend as much time with you as possible."

Chris chuckles. He puts his arms around McKayla and kisses the top of her head.

"You need to rest; keep the baby healthy."

"Yeah yeah yeah." McKayla deadpans.

They break the embrace and Chris kisses her forehead, "It's just a few weeks."

"I know."

Chris puts a hand under McKayla's chin and tilts her head up so she was looking up at him. He leans down and kisses her sweetly, memorizing the way her lips moved against his. They come apart and Chris rests his forehead on hers.

"I'll call you tomorrow, okay? And I'll see you tomorrow night."

McKayla nods, "I love you."

"I love you too."

They quickly kiss once more, then McKayla turns and walks away.

It was three days after Chris left.

"I already miss him so much." McKayla says to Sophie.

"I know, sweetheart, but you'll see him again in just a few weeks, and in a few days, you'll get to know what the sex of the baby is."

McKayla smiles, "Yeah...I want cake."

A/N: Wow, the past couple chapters have been really short, huh? The last couple chapters will be nice and long though. SPEAKING OF WHICH. There are only four chapters left! Then the behind the scenes chapter and this trilogy is DONE. Wow.

ALSO YOU GUYS TOMORROW I WILL BE SIX MONTHS CUTTING FREE I'M SO HAPPY.
