Babysitter Emergency

Zack and Alex had mended their relationship. It had been about 2 months since they reconnected and Alex couldn't be happier all things considered. They had worked out a pretty great schedule and Zack was super accommodating of Alex's time with Everly. And Zack asked about her often. Zack was waiting patiently for Alex to bring up the conversation of when he would be introduced to the adorable 3 year old.

Alex and Zack were casually making out on Zack's couch after they had dinner at Zack's adorable little apartment. Zack was straddling Alex's lap and Alex had his hands around Zack's waist and Zack's were around Alex's neck.

Alex was enjoying the extended time with Zack, Everly was visiting his mom for the weekend because his Mom wanted them all to go to some family gathering. Alex had no interest in attending, so he sent Everly with grandma instead. As he and Zack were touching and their tongues were intertwined, Alex kept thinking how he was ready to make things more official than they already were.

Alex pulled away from Zack's lips. Causing Zack to groan disapprovingly. "Come baaaaaack." He whined.

Alex smirked, amused, but he needed to be serious. "Can we talk about something?"

Zack nodded. Realizing Alex was serious he attempted to move off Alex's lap. "No stay put." Alex said quietly. Holding Zack in place.

Zack stopped trying to move. he was playing with the hair at the base of Alex's neck to keep himself focused. Alex didn't mind. and he made sure to keep eye contact with Alex to show he was listening.

"Did I do something wrong?" Zack asked gently.

Alex shook his head. Taking his hand and cupping Zack's cheek. "Not at all... it's actually everything you do right."

Zack melted into Alex's touch. "Ok?"

Alex pulled Zack's face close to his by the chin. "I want you to meet Everly this week, and I want you to Be my boyfriend.officially." Alex whispered.

Zack smiled at Alex. "I have been waiting for you to ask." He said softly.

He leaned in and kissed Alex tenderly. And Alex matched his pressure. They both smiled as they pulled away.

"So does that mean we are official?" Alex asked.

There was A hint of fear in his tone. He was so scared to get rejected yet again. Even though he knew Zack was into him.

Zack laughed a little. "Yes.I am your boyfriend and you are mine. And I am excited to meet your adorable daughter officially."

Alex smiled. "Your name is no longer Zack. It's babe or baby. If I use your name from here on out, or if I use my dad voice. Be afraid."

Zack laughed. "Noted. Babe or Baby it is."

Zack paused a moment.

"Can I hear the Dad voice?" He asked with a smirk.

Alex rolled his eyes. "You weirdo!"

Zack pecked Alex's lips. "Please?"

Alex shook his head but cleared his throat in preparation anyway. "Zachary!"

Zack went wide eyed. "Damn. Consider me afraid." He said with a little smile. A bit surprised by the authority in Alex's voice.

Alex laughed. "As you should be. Everly hears me say her name that way and she instantly gets watery eyed and her lip quivers like this."

Alex pouted his lip, and did his best impression of his 3 year old daughter as best as he could. Zack looked at Alex and just about melted at the sight of how adorable he is.
