In front of a steel-plated door, made to withstand the most extraordinary attempts to break in,  stood two LGD guards who seemed hesitant to enter. One of them held a yellow file written on it with crimson red letters 'Confidential: Subject.078'.  A file that had knowledge entrusted only to those with the highest level of clearance.

"Look, how about I be the person who opens the door and you be the one who gives her the report?" Said the first guard who had the file, unwanting to be the one to deliver it.

"Nah man, I've got a family to feed, you know. I can't risk losing my job man...I am sorry but you'll have to do it this time" The second guard responded, clearly afraid of whoever was behind that door.

A golden sign, patterned with red unactive originium dust, stood above the door with a name on it 'Inspector Ch'en'  Head of the Lungmen Guard Department's Special Inspection Unit.

The guards continued arguing about who to deliver the report to until a cold and professional voice interrupted them.

"Can you explain what kind of mission you two are performing in front of the chief's office?" The guards almost jumped from surprise, but they were overjoyed when they saw who it was.

"Officer Hoshiguma! Perfect timing, you are the only one who can help us right now" One of them was about to scream out of joy upon seeing the officer in front of him.

She was a green-haired Oni who towered over them with how tall she was. But she wasn't just a tall Oni. Hoshiguma is also an elite operator from the Special Ops Team of the L.G.D. Unlike them, she can deliver the report to Inspector Ch'en without the fear of losing her job.

"What do you need help with?" She asked while already having an idea of what they needed as she looked at the file he held with shaking hands

"What do you need help with?" She asked while already having an idea of what they needed as she looked at the file he held with shaking hands.

"Could you please deliver this report to the inspector? We think you doing it would be much better. That is, if you don't mind of course." She felt as if he was just a few words away from begging her to just take the file from his hands.

"I guess you guys were chosen to be the bad news bearers, hm?" A weak nod from both of them was the answer. "I guess then I would take the file to her. But remember, you owe me a drink next time, yeah?"

"Of coures, of coures Captain. We'll get you whatever you want, thank you very much!" The guards bowed their heads in a sign of respect after giving Hoshiguma the report. "Now please allow us to excuse ourselves back  to our duty."

And with that, they quickly retreated to their positions. Hoshiguma sighed as she opened the steel door. She was greeted with an expected yet always surprising scene.

Inside was a medium-sized and normal-looking office, with other than the few awards, university degrees, and personal pictures documenting several achievements, the office was non-different from any other regular one.
