During class, Minho stared at Jisung. He didn't know why, and he said it was just him doing his job, but he felt that it was more than that. But that wasn't allowed. Minho had never fallen for one of his targets before and he didn't want to make this job any harder than it had to be. He needed to move faster, so his job would be done, and he could go on with his life, never thinking about Jisung ever again.

"Hyung?"

Minho blinked. "Hm?"

"The bell just went." Jisung said, stuffing his books into his bag.

"Oh..." Minho stood up and shoved his books into his bag.

"I need to go, Jeongin wants to talk to me," Jisung said, "bye, hyung."

Jisung left the classroom, leaving Minho alone with his thoughts.

He should ask Jisung out on Friday and they can go to the arcade or movies together.

Minho slowly stood up and walked out of the classroom, snapping out of his daze when he heard yelling.

"...-Jeongin, I can't tell you!"

"Jisung, you're hurting because of some dick, and you deserve to be happy with whoever you like!"

It's Jisung and Jeongin arguing. Minho keeps walking and sees them. Jisung is crying and Jeongin is holding Jisung's hand, trying to calm him down.

"What do they even have against you?" Jeongin asks Jisung as Minho hides, so he can see them, but they can't see him.

"I can't tell you..." Jisung sobs quietly.

"Who is it?"

"I can't tell you..."

"Jisung!" Jeongin exclaims. "I can't help you if you don't tell me anything!"

"But I can't!" Jisung crys. "If I tell you, he's going to tell everyone, and he'll hurt me!"

"Who the fuck is it!?" Jeongin yells.

Jisung sobs harder and there's a small thump. Minho sees Jisung drop to his knees and hug Jeongin's legs.

"I'm sorry!" Jisung sobs. "I can't tell you! I wish I could, but I can't!"

Jeongin falls to the ground, too, and hugs Jisung. "Please, hyung," Jeongin begs, "I can't see suffering like this..."

Jisung shakes his head and hugs Jeongin back. "I'm sorry..."

"Hyung," Jeongin says quietly, Minho has to strain his ears to hear him, "don't say sorry, the sorry excuse for a human being that is causing you pain is the one who has to apologize."

Jisung nods and they stay there, on the ground, hugging in silence for a few minutes.

Eventually, Jeongin says, "let's go, we've both got class next period."

Jisung nods and sniffles. They stand up and walk in the direction of the nearest bathroom, hugging each other tightly as they walk.

So, Jisung had been blackmailed. This might be slightly harder than Minho had originally thought.

Minho watched Jisung as he ate lunch, the next day. He was chatting with Changbin, who had managed not to sit next to Felix today. Changbin was staring at Jisung in a way Minho didn't like. Minho didn't know why he didn't like it, he just didn't.

"Hey, Minho,"

Minho turned to Felix. "Yeah?"

"Do you like Jisung?" Felix asked.

Minho shrugged. "Yeah, I guess."

"No, do you like, like Jisung?"

Minho nodded. "Yeah, I guess."

Felix nodded. "That's good, you should ask him out."

"I'm already going to ask him out on Friday." Minho said.

"You plan on asking him out in two days?" Felix asked, rolling his eyes.

"Yup." Minho nodded, popping the 'p'.

"And if he says no?" Felix asked. "Are you going to move on? Or give up?"

Minho let out a chuckle, though it had no humor to it. "Obviously not. I'm going to keep asking until he says yes and I'm going to make sure he falls in love with me."

Felix nodded. "That's good."

"Why?"

"B-because he's, um, devastated from rejecting Changbin and he's thinking of giving him a chance because of how guilty he feels and, we wouldn't want Changbin to get lead on, would we?" Felix stutters at the start, then gains his footing at the end.

"Yeah, I guess." Minho says, knowing that Felix isn't being legit.

Minho turns back to watching Jisung and he sees Felix watching Changbin out of the corner of his eye.

Minho walks out of school and sees Jisung walking slowly with his head down. Jisung obviously wasn't going home, because he was going the wrong way for that.

"Jisung!" Minho called out, running up to him.

Jisung turned around.

"Where are you going?" Minho asked.

"Umm..." Jisung looked really nervous.

"Uhm- Earth to Jisung...?" Minho said.

Jisung snapped out of it and looked at Minho with wide eyes as if he'd just realized that Minho was there. "N-nowhere... Wasn't paying attention to my surroundings."

Minho nodded. "I'll walk you the rest of the way home, I don't mind."

Why did Minho say that? Jisung's house was in the opposite direction to his house!
