After Five days
Isha was better now so she decided to go to the bazaar for some daily things. As soon as she decides, she gets ready.
— Bhaiyaa, Yeah book kitni ki hai?
— 2000 mam.
— Bapre. Aap to haar book ko hazaar ke upar chada rahe hai... Online mein yeah book nahi hai warna waha se hi accha hota. Kher, pack kar dijiye...
In the mean time, Isha heard someone talking outside the store.
— Arre, yeah hamare complex mein reheti hai. Arre, meine to pehele hi kaha tha ki ek aurat akeli aise kaise rehe sakti hai. Ajkal ek mard bohot aata hai flat mein, zyadataar raat ko.
— Chi! Aisi proffesor college mein kaise padhati hai!
Isha knew all these. But now, She knew that Shantanu is her and she will never hear anything bad about him from anyone. Isha, without taking the book came outside and said,
— Mera flat hai woh. Apne paiso se kharidi hai maine. Waha kon aaraha hai, kon jaraha hai yeah saab dekhne ka paisa milta hai apko?
— Nahi behen, aisa nahi hai. Kya haina, humare ghar bacche rehete hai. Unko kya sikhsa mil raha hai?
— Acchi siksha. Shantanu mera dost hai, baccho yeah sikhaiye ki dosti mein gender nahi dekha jaata. Ek akeli aurat dekhi nahi aplog suru ho jaate hai!
— To galat kya bola humne. Tum yeah hi deserve karti ho.
— Kon kya deserve karta hai yeah bhi aaplog bata denge!
Shantanu's voice came from a distance. Isha watches Shantanu standing in a distance. He walks and comes near Isha.
— Kya bol rahi thi aap? Mujhse boliye.
— Aagaye aap. Apne rakhwali ko sambhaliye!
— Don't you dare to use that word for her. Isha kon hai, kya hai iski thodi si bhi andaza nahi hai aaplog ko.
— Tum hi to woh ho jo ise college mein saabke saamne uthaye the apne baaho mein!
Another Woman says in a very rough tone.
— Ha, uthaya tha. Ek insaan ke payer mein chot lagti hai to ushe kaise mein chalne du? Or Isha meri bohot acchi dost hai. Uske niye itna to mein karunga hi. Apko kya lagta hai? Ek aurat or mard dost nahi ho sakte? Or agar, agar hum ek dusre se Mohabbat bhi karte hai to kya gunah kar rahe hai? Yeah hamara personal matter hai. Agli baar se aise kuch bhi anab sanab bolne se pehele sau baar sochna... Mein Isha sirft nahi, kisi bhi ladki ke saath badtameezi bardash nahi karunga. Isha, chalo.
Isha was stunned and mesmerized. Though she felt embarrassed and humiliated, still half of her heart was very happy that Shantanu took stand for her. Isha took the book and then walks away with Shantanu.
Shantanu was noticing that Isha is sad and he very well knew the reason. As soon as Shantanu park the car outside Isha's complex she runs into her apartment. She sat on her bed sobbing in pain. Isha was a very respected woman in Ramtek. Everyone loved her and respected her. But today... She notices that Shantanu walked in the room and silently sat beside her. The silence made the room more dramatic. At last Shantanu breaks the Silence...
— Tumhe rona hai?
— Nahi.
— Agar hai to rolo. I am your friend, tum ro sakti ho mere saamne.
This was it. Isha grabs Shantanu's shirt on hand and rests her head on his shoulder. Shantanu felt that slowly his shirt was getting wet. Shantanu felt like his heart is breaking into thousand pieces. He was just unable to watch this woman crying. He pulles Isha into a hug and for the first time Isha cries out loud infront of him. Shantanu just holds Isha as tight as he could.
After sometime Isha holds herself back. After sometime, Shantanu said,
— Tum galat nahi ho...
— Ramtek chota saher hai Shantanu. Yeha baat aag ki tarah failti hai. College mein bhi ush din ko leke gossips ho rahi hogi. Mein hot topic ban gayi or mere liye tum bhi.
Shantanu tuck Isha's hairs in the back of her ear and said,
— Ssshh! Aisa kuch nahi hai. Hume jawaab bhi to dena aata hai. Hum dono ko pata hai ki hamara rishta bohot pure hai... Tumhare students ko pata hai ki unki Isha mam kitni pure hai. Or yeah log to aisa bolenge hi... Inko topic chahiye baat karne ke liye... Itna matt socho... Plzz.
Isha and Shantanu's eyes get locked with each other. Love is peaceful only if the person is right, Isha thought. Again Shantanu holds Isha back in his arms but this time its more tight then the previous one... This hug is peace, this is the understanding they had...
