ON THE BUS

The two men in hazmat suits enter the interrogation cell, one of them placing the containment box onto the table. They leave the room, the box left to sit in the room ominously.

THE COCKPIT

May sits in the cockpit, Coulson entering the control area. "What's our E.T.A?" Coulson asks the woman.

"3:37 West Africa Time," May tells him.

Coulson looks at his watch, sighing heavily. "It's going to be a long 4 hours and 26 minutes."

He turns to walk out but May stops him with her question. "Are you okay? How's Ravena doing?"

"We're fine," Coulson tells May, "we just want the alien thing off our plane as soon as humanly possible. But, she's currently cleaning out our bar. Even though she can't get drunk."

"That's to be expected," May nods.

Rose slams down a glass, sighing heavily. "I never thought this would be my life," Rose admits. She now wears a white fitted top, black jeans and combat boots.

"Flying internationally? With a man who you now view as a son?" Grant asks. "And with another man who you watched die before you fought creatures from space? A creature in which we have a helmet sitting on this plane," Grant finishes his conclusion.

"All of that," Rose agrees, nodding her head as she pours another glass of vodka. "Being a heroine, finding love with a man. Finding you to be a son figure. Opening myself up to new people."

"What do you have with not really trusting people?" Grant asks.

"I watched my parents die. They were murdered in front of me. At five years old," Rose tells him, Grant looking at her alarmed. "The man took me from my home, tried gaining my trust. But five year old me was smart, I didn't really trust him. And every man or woman I met during my imprisonment was cruel and abusive." Rose swallows back the glass of alcohol, slamming the glass down. "That is why I don't trust real easily, Grant. I'm telling you this again, every instinct in my body is telling me not to trust you. Every part of me. But I am. I just hope it doesn't backfire on me."

"Thank you," Grant tells her. Rose looks confused, prompting her to continue. "For opening up to me a bit."

"What about you?" Rose asks gently.

A beep comes over the bar tablet, followed by Jemma's voice. "Sorry Ravena, but there is something I discovered that I would like for you to see."

"We will continue this conversation after I see what Jemma needs," Rose tells Grant. She presses the tablet, "I'll be right there soon."

Rose turns to walk away, but Grant stops her. "The fireman," Grant states, Rose turning to him. "You did everything you could for him."

She smiles, nodding to him. Rose walks away, heading towards the lab.
