Harmony's P.O.V.

"ENOUGH" The duke shouted, Furiously, I could tell he was beyond anger.

"You all-" I then caught the duke off, because I had something to say too. I will not run or hide anymore.

"I do know my position." The duke looked back at me, surprised. It looked like his anger suddenly disappeared.

"I know that my mother is a criminal, a sinner, and that I'm living in the duke's mansion in his favor. Basically, the only way to stay here, is to depend on the duke's generosity. That's why I cherished this bow so much.-"

"HAH- DO YOU THINK WE'LL JUST CLOSE OUR EYES ON IT LIKE NOTHING HAPPENED CUZ YOU 'CHERISHED' IT?"

"No, I wouldn't expect that. Especially from you, who ripped a child's bow off." 

He flinched. I felt Melody's glance, drilling through my back, but I didn't care.

"I WOULD NEVER-"

'Such a beautiful bow... must worth a lot'

He stopped, looked at me in shock, as I held a mana stone. There are a lot of types of mana stones, but this one, records anything- like a security camera. Right now, it was showing the scene of him holding my bow.

'Too bad it won't be that good looking now.' Then, he ruthlessly ripped the bow. All the elders, maids that were outside, the duke, and Melody was looking at me, shocked.

"...I'm sorry, would you like to finish what you were saying?" I asked, giving him an eye-closed smile.

"..How-"

"If you're going to ask 'how' I'll tell you."

Flashback to 1 day ago, when Harmony saw the elder

'...but- that direction where he came from..... Isn't the way out from Loretta's room...'

I thought. 'Something's wrong.'

End of flashback

"I thought it was weird. Why would you be coming out of the direction where it happens to be my room?" I asked, and before he could answer, I caught him off. "So from that today on, I secretly put a mana stone on top of the mirror in my room. And this is what it caught"

I glanced at the duke, and I swear I saw fire in his eyes, and on his back- "My sister and I will go now, have a nice talk." I said as I smiled innocently, took Melody's hand and left.

TIME SKIP to night time

I went in my room, and closed the door behind it, feeling really down. 'Now I should go to Loretta. I promised to read a book with her.' 

Tears won, and fell from my eyes. Yes, the bow was fixed, and the hat will be fixed too.... But- I wanted it to stay like that forever- it's the same bow, but for some reason, it wasn't the same.

Then, I heard a knock on my door. 'At this hour?? ... I can't face anyone yet. Maybe if I stay quiet, they'll think I'm sleeping, and go away.'

"...Miss Melody, Loretta, I think she's asleep, maybe we should come tomorrow?"

'Melody? Loretta?' I bought as I walked to the door, and opened it.

The first thi- no- person I saw was master Claude. "Master Claude?" 

"I-I'm sorry but- I lied" he said, scratching his neck. "It's fine. What do you need?" I asked. "I just came here to keep our promise" he said

'promise?' I thought as I followed him to the library. "Wait- is the one where i have to finish more documents?!" I exclaimed. "Well- yes, but there is something else." He then led me to a table, where a notebook that I finished was. I tilted my head.
