CHAPTER 17

The guard informed the cops about her abduction and Kavin without wasting a second went behind the van. He lost the direction due to the traffic and he hit his hand to the steering wheel.

'Pari ko kuch nahi hoga.. Mai usko kuch hone nahi dunga..' Raj said. (Nakul - Pradyuman's son ; Priya's hubby ; Kavin's jiju)

Within an hour, before the cops can do anything, she came to the bureau herself. Sachin kept a hand on Kavin's shoulder and his gaze fell on her. At first, he thought she has been replaced, so he went near her and carefully observed her standing at some distance.

'Peecho mudo..' Kavin said while she looked at him.

'Peecho mudo..' He said and she turned back. He relaxed and hugged her coming infront of her.

'Tum thik ho na..?' She nodded in yes and Kavin hugged her tightly.

'Mai thik hu.. Vo mere doston ne mujhe jabardasti bitaya tha kyunki mai unke kisi party mei nahi jaa rahi thi.. I am fine..' Purvi said, Kavin nodded in yes and took her home.

'Tum rest karo, mai khaana bana dunga..'

'Nahi nahi, it's ok mai bana dungi..'

Kavin's mother, Shalini signalled him to let her do whatever she wants and asked him to come to her as she wanted to talk with him. They both went to her room.

'Kya hua maa..?'

'Kavin yeh sab kab khatam hoga..? Mujhse aur nahi hota beta.. Meri aankhein taras gayi hai Priya ko dekhne ke liye... Tum use ghar kab laaoge..?'

'Maa mai..'

Kavin got a call and he answered it. It was from Raj asking Kavin to come to the bureau as soon as possible. He agreed and left to the bureau.

'Kya hua jiju aapne mujhe is tarah achanak yaha kyu bulaya..? Kuch mila kya..?'

Raj looked at Pradyuman and then at Abhijeet and Daya. Kavin too looked at them.

'Tum dono ne yeh sach pehle kyun nahi bataya hume ki Pari yaha aayi thi..?' Pradyuman asked in his angry tone.

'Hume nahi pata tha ki vo pehle se sab kuch jaanti hai.. Hum baad mei aaye the, humne jab pucha ki kya hua usne kuch bataya nahi, hume laga shayad vo aapki baatein sun ke hurt hui.. Hamara dhyaan tab Priya pe nahi tha..' Abhijeet said.

Kavin asked what happened and what they were talking about when Priya replies him that Purvi might have seen Priya in the bureau. Everytime Priya hides herself but last time when she came to the bureau to serve lunch to everyone, there might be a chance that Purvi saw Priya and then she got upset on whatever Kavin said.

'Iska matlab vo yeh jaanti hai ki mai uska sach jaanta hu ki vo ACP sir ki beti hai..?' Kavin asked while Priya nodded in yes.

'Hume sirf itna pata hai ki ACP sir ne bureau mei sabke saamne Purvi ko apna beti maana aur Purvi ne suna.. Uske pehle kya hua, Purvi kab se vaha khadi hui thi, hume nahi pata..' Daya said.

Kavin went to his home along with Priya and rang the doorbell. Priya looked at him.

'Kavin yeh kya kar rahe ho..? Agar Purvi ne mujhe nahi dekha toh vo kya sochegi..?' Priya questioned Kavin while he ignored her and rang the doorbell again.

Purvi opened the door and saw Kavin holding a girl's hand while the girl hid her face behind him. Purvi looked at Kavin. He took her inside and called his mother.

'Maa bahar aaiye..' Shalini came out and looked at Kavin.

'Mai aaj apna galti sudharunga jaan..' Kavin thought.

'Priya..' He called her softly while Priya cursed him under her throat.

'Purvi..' He went near her holding Priya's hand.

'Mai...'

'Divorce chahiye aapko..?' She looked at him.

Pehle kyu na mile hum
Tanha hi kyu jale hum
Milke muqammal hue hai

'Nahi Purvi.. Tum galat samajh rahi ho.. Mai aur Kavin asal mei...' Priya said but Kavin interrupted her.

'Haan, mujhe divorce chahiye..' Kavin's words shocked the whole team and his family.

'Yeh Kavin ko aakhir hua kya hai..?' Raj thought.

Kavin to everyone's surprise kissed Priya in front of Purvi (pretended to kiss giving a pose).

'I am sorry Purvi..' Kavin thought while Purvi cleared her throat.

'De dungi divorce aapko..' Her reply broke his heart completely.

Raj was about to take a step ahead but then he saw Kavin's tears and he understood that Kavin has something in his mind and he may be helpless to do so, hence Raj stood silently.

Kavin wiped his tears without her notice and nodded his head as if he said ok and directly went upstairs.

Everyone there know that Kavin wants to be alone for sometime so no body went near him. Purvi went upstairs and knocked the door. He wiped his tears and asked to come in.

'Khaana ban gaya hai, aap aake kha lijiye..' Purvi said and he nodded in yes keeping his back towards her.

'Kavin..' She called him and he just replied without turning back.

'I am fine, aapko guilty feel karne ki zaroorat nahi hai.. Hamari shaadi hone se pehle hi jaanti hu ki aapke dil mei kaun hai..' She smiled.

'Aaj bhi nahi jaanti ho tum ki mere dil mei sirf aur sirf tum ho aur meri aakhri saans tak is dil pe sirf tumhara naam hoga..' Kavin thought.

'Vaise mai chahti hu ki aap aur Priya.. mera matlab hai ki mai.. mai aap dono ka shaadi dekhu...'

Kavin smiled in pain thinking what a ridiculous thing it was to marry his own sister and his love wants him to do such a ridiculous thing before leaving. What else can he do except to smile in that situation? He accepted Purvi's request and then he went inside washroom.

'Kya farak padta hai mera di se shaadi karne ka ? Vo vaise bhi shadishuda hai aur mai.. mai unse shaadi kar ke bhi nahi karunga..' He said to himself in the mirror through his mind.

His tears rolled down his cheeks when he remembered what crazy things he did just to stay with her during nights, his acting to hug her, his excuses to stay beside her. He fell unconscious suddenly and someone opened the door.......
