CHAPTER 38

Recap : Kavin was fed up with Purvi as she wasn't giving any answer to him and he went to London and found some evidence regarding Dhruv and Purvi's relationship.

Kavin bent down keeping his hands on the table and looked at Dhruv.

'Mai London gaya tha Dhruv, aur vaha maine tumhare ghar ki talashi li aur vaha mujhe yeh papers mile.. Pure ghar ki talashi liya hai toh sirf yeh mila ho aisa ho nahi sakta na, aur bhi kuch mila hoga na..' Kavin smirked at Dhruv.

'Kya mila hai..?' Dhruv asked.

'Bahut kuch... Ab bata bhi do ki Purvi aur tum kis project pe kaam kar rahe ho.. Aur ha yeh handwriting... Ise maine pehchaan liya Dhruv.. Tumne hi mujhe inform kiya ki Purvi London se India aane wali hai..' Kavin said. Dhruv sighed.

'Ha, mai Purvi ka senior hu, Purvi jab medicine kar rahi thi toh mai uske doubts clarify kiya karta tha London mei.. Par lakh koshishon ke bawajood bhi Purvi surgeries perform nahi kar paayi.. Magar ek din...' Dhruv looked at Kavin and continued.

Purvi received an unknown letter from someone and it said that her brother Nakul was not shot by Pradyuman but someone else shot him from behind. And someone from Nakul's so called secret operation unit betrayed her brother leading him to death. She received a photo in that letter to and it was none other than Sahil himself whom the team mistook as Purvi's first love (in the starting chapters).

'Mai jaanta tha ki Purvi vaha safe nahi hogi aur isliye maine CID bureau ke bahar ek letter chodna chaha magar jab mai bureau ke paas ke canteen mei coffee pine baita toh maine vaha suna ki tum log ACP sir ki beti Purvi ki baat kar rahe the ki uski jaan khatre mei hai aur tab maine suna ki you love Purvi and you are searching for her.. Maine decide kiya ki vo letter aapke car pe chod du taaki is bahane se aap koi plan banake Purvi ko safe rakh sake.. But mujhe nahi pata tha that you will marry her directly making her helpless to stay with you..' Dhruv confessed.

'Uske baad kya hua Dhruv, vo batao jo sirf tumhe aur Purvi ko pata hai..' Kavin gave a serious look.

'Uske baad Purvi London se India vaapis aayi and then you married her. But tumhare peet piche... Vo investigate kar rahi thi apne bhai ke maut ke baare mei..' Dhruv said. The CID team was hearing every thing from outside.

'Ek raat Purvi chupke se Sahil ke ghar gayi thi aur use vaha kuch toh mila tha.. Use kuch toh aisa pata chala jiske baad vo ek dam chup thi, apne secrets kisi se share nahi karti thi.. Not even with me.. I thought to follow her lekin Karan, Aman aur Suraj ki wajah se mai zyada follow nahi kar paaya..' Dhruv through the corner of his eye noticed the team.

'Oh no Dhruv, iske aage kuch mat kehna.. Agar yeh baat ACP sir ya kisi aur ko pata chala toh sab gadbad ho jaayega..' Dhruv thought.

'Bas us raat jab Aarav Purvi pe hamla karne wala tha toh maine uspe goli chalaya..' Dhruv said. Salunkhe called the team.

'Boss, maine Aarav Kapoor ki body ko check kiya aur isse pehle ki mai kuch bata paata tum logon ko, Purvi aur Abhijeet pe hamle dekh ke bata nahi paaya.. Dhruv nirdosh hai, usne goli chalaya zaroor hai magar jo goli Aarav ko lagi hai vo Dhruv ke paas se jo gun mila usse match nahi hota boss.. Dhruv ne Aarav ko nahi maara..' Salunkhe said.

Since Dhruv was proved innocent and he told Kavin what he needed, they allowed him to leave. But Dhruv met Purvi secretly when the team was busy solving the case of fake Karan and Aarav's deaths.

'Purvi, pehchana mujhe..? Dekho yaha koi nahi hai, koi camera nahi hai, agar tum natak kar rahi ho toh tum mujhe sab bata sakti ho..' Dhruv said. She looked at him.....

'Sir... Aarav ko fir kisne maara aur kyun ? Aur vo fake Karan kaun hai..? Aur yeh sab...' Pankaj looked at Daya.

'Sabar rakho Pankaj, sab pata chalega... Kavin, tum Dushyant, Raj aur Ishita jao jaake medicine ke baare mei pata lagao..' Abhijeet ordered.

'Daya, tum Shreya, Pankaj, Nikhil jaake pata lagao ki is fake Karan ka kya chakkar hai..' Abhijeet looked at him and Daya nodded.

'Abhijeet, tum mai, Freddy, Pankaj, Sachin aur Divya is Aarav ka sach pata lagayenge..' Pradyuman said and ordered the rest to handle other cases in the bureau or do their work and they can help them with the other works they needed such as tracking locations or bringing the reports from the forensic.

Everyone left to do their work. Kavin was sitting on the passenger seat when he got a call. He answered and listened that Mahi was on the call.

'Papa, aap ghar kab aa rahe ho..?'

'Shaam ko aaunga beta.. Kyu..? Kuch kaam hai kya bachcha..?' Kavin asked.

'Vo mumma..' Mahi said.

'Kya hua mumma ko..? Vo thik hai na..?' Kavin asked.

'Pata nahi papa, ghar mei koi ghus aaya hai aur mummy ne bad uncles ko bahar rok rakha hai aur darwaza band kar diya..' Mahi cried.

'Chup ho jao Mahi, rote nahi, papa abhi ghar aa rahe hai..' Saying this Kavin got down from the car and went to his house leaving the case to the rest of his team.

'Purvi, Mahi..' Kavin entered and saw Purvi on the bed and Mahi sitting next to her.

'Mahi, tum thik toh ho..?' Kavin checked on her.

'Ha papa, lekin mumma ko fever hai aur yaha koi hai nahi, isliye maine aapko ghar bulaya jhoot bolke..' Mahi looked at him. Kavin sighed and hugged Mahi and asked her to not say such lies. He said that he was so worried. Mahi promised him she will never lie again. Kavin sat beside Purvi and asked Mahi to do her homework. He informed his team that they are fine and Mahi lied as Purvi was ill.

The team on the other hand went to Sunaina's laboratory but they didn't get any clue. So they went to Avinash Kapoor's house. They searched every corner of the house. Ishita found something and she called her team. The team was shocked to see the papers.
